Terms and Conditions – “Win a 3 Night Merimbula Escape for 2 People” competition
1. This competition (the “Promotion”) is open to residents of Australia aged 18 or over.
2. Promoter: Merimbula Tourism Incorporated, 4 Beach Street, Merimbula 2548.
3. 12 prize ‘packages’ which each include: 1 x 3 consecutive nights accommodation for 2 people and 1 x experience for 2 people. All prizes are subject to availability, not available in school or public holidays. Expiration date is 1st September 2017. All prizes must be redeemed during the 3 night stay. Any unused portion will be forfeited and cannot be redeemed at a later date or redeemed for cash.
4. By providing your name, email and postcode, subscribers will be considered competition entrants and will be deemed to accept these terms and conditions, including the Promoter’s Privacy Statement set out below. Entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
5. Entries will be judged at the end of the competition. 12 winners will be chosen to receive ONE of the following prizes packages, prizes will be distributed at the discretion of the judges:
i) 3 nights for 2 people at Albatross Holiday Units in the heart of Merimbula with a bonus Oyster tour on Pambula Lake with Captain Sponge.
ii) 3 nights for 2 people at Apollo Luxury Apartments right near Merimbula’s Main Beach with a $100 voucher for lunch or dinner at Wheeler’s Seafood Restaurant.
iii) 3 nights for 2 people at Beach Cabins Merimbula overlooking beautiful Short Point with a bonus Oyster Tour on Pambula Lake with Captain Sponge.
iv) 3 nights for 2 people at Pacific Heights Holiday Apartments set on the grounds of historic Munn’s Tower, plus a bonus $100 Voucher for lunch or dinner at Wheeler’s Seafood Restaurant.
v) 3 nights for 2 people at the stylish The Palms Apartments in Merimbula with a bonus Oyster tour on Pambula Lake with Captain Sponge.
vi) 3 nights for 2 in the heart of Merimbula at South Seas Motel in a deluxe queen room, plus a $100 voucher for cocktails & burgers at Dulcie’s Cottage.vii) 3 nights for 2 people at the charming retro-styled Norfolk Pines Motel, plus Stand-Up Paddleboard lessons & hire for 2 with Merimbula Stand-Up Paddle.
viii) 3 Nights for 2 people ‘Glampling’ at Tathra Beachside situated on absolute beachfront at Tathra Beach, plus entry and coffee and cake for 2 at On the Perch, aviaries, gifts & cafe.
ix) 3 nights for 2 people at indoor pet friendly (with secure pet space) Top of the Lake Holiday Units, plus a bonus Morning kayak tour with Kiah Wilderness Tours.
x) 3 nights for 2 people at Nautilus Apartments, just metres from Merimbula’s Main Beach, plus a bonus Bay Cruise from Merimbula Marina.
xi) 3 nights for 2 people at Pacific Heights Holiday Apartments set on the grounds of historic Munn’s Tower, plus a bonus Oyster tour on Pambula Lake with Captain Sponge.
xii) 3 nights for 2 people at Woodbine Park Eco Cabins, plus a bonus Morning kayak tour for 2 with Kiah Wilderness Tours and entry for 2 to Eden Killer Whale Museum, along with a copy of the “Killers of Eden” book.
6. Accommodation provided is for 2 people, and cannot be upgraded to accommodate more guests. At least one person staying in the room must be 18 years of age or older.
7. There is no cash alternative to the prizes and the prizes are not transferable.
8. The Promoter has the discretion to part or all of the prize to one of equal or greater value at any time.
9. Entry Instructions: The Promotion begins on February 14th, 2017 (EST) and ends on March 30, 2017 (EST) at 5pm (EST) (the “Promotion Period”). Entrants must provide name, email and postcode, and write in 3 words or less why a 3 night break for 2 in magical Merimbula is needed, via the competition entry form at http://www.merimbulatourism.com.au/win-3-night-merimbula-escape/.
10. Entries will be judged at Merimbula Tourism 4 Beach Street Merimbula on 31st March 2017 and announced within 7 days of judging. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. The Winners will be notified by email and required to provide a postal address and phone number. Merimbula Tourism Inc. will endeavour to notify the winner within 7 days of the Promotion judging taking place.
12. The Winners will be published online at http://www.merimbulatourism.com.au/win-3-night-merimbula-escape/ within 7 days of judging.
13. The Promotion is not open to employees, volunteers or members of Merimbula Tourism Inc. and their immediate families or suppliers of goods and/or services to Merimbula Tourism Inc. members.
14. If any Winner fails to contact the Promoter or the winner declines the prize, the winner will be disqualified and a new Winner(s) will be judged in the same manner at a date to be determined.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to (a) award an alternative prize of equal or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to vary, amend or withdraw this competition on reasonable notice.
16. Privacy: The Promoter respects winners’ privacy and is committed to collect, store or use personal data with an option to opt out of any further promotional material. The Promoter will not share or sell any personal information provided by means of this Promotion.
