CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
By entering this competition you agree to accept the official conditions of entry, including all eligibility requirements. These are the official terms and conditions for the competition run by GoFundraise and Huma Charity Challenge between 5/10/2016 – 27/02/2017.
PROMOTION PERIOD
1. The competition begins on 5/10/2016 and entries close on 27/02/2017 at 5pm. The prize winner will be chosen on 2/03/2017 and notified by email and a phone call.
2. The winner will also be announced on the Huma Charity Challenge and GoFundraise Facebook pages.
HOW TO ENTER
3. To enter the competition, the entrant must complete the following two (2) questions in 300 characters or less using the competition entry page:
· If you win, what charity would you like to fundraise for and why?· What will your fundraising campaign look like?4. Entries over 300 characters will not be accepted.
5. The entrant also agrees to subscribe the GoFundraise and Huma Charity Challenge e-newsletters if not already subscribed.
6. Entry limited to one (1) entry per person.
7. The Promoters reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoters to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
8. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
ELIGIBILITY
9. Entry is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
10. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoters and agents associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
WINNER SELECTION
11. This competition is a game of skill and the competition winner will be judged by Huma Charity Challenge and GoFundraise and will be chosen based on the most creative and innovative answers. E.g. the most creative fundraising campaign ideas.
PRIZE
12. The chosen winner will win the following prize:
a. Seven (7) day Walk Larapinta Open Challenge with Huma Charity Challenge for one (1) person (twin share) for departure on 10 June 2017.
b. Inclusions as per the trip notes at www.humacharitychallenge.com
c. Total prize valued at a maximum of $2,690AUD (including a $200 registration fee).
d. The offer is valid for travel on the 10 June 2017 departure of the Walk Larapinta Open Challenge with Huma Charity Challenge only.
e. The winner must fundraise $1000 for their chosen Australian charity as part of the challenge.
13. Travel is subject to availability and the trip meeting minimum numbers at the time of booking. The prize cannot be changed once the booking has been confirmed by the Promoters or its agents with the prize winner
14. Reservations must be made directly with Huma Charity Challenge and a booking form must be completed and signed by the participants acknowledging the terms and conditions of participation.
15. The 7 day Walk Larapinta Open Challenge portion of the prize is redeemable for the land only content, commencing in Alice Springs as outlined in the detailed trip notes found at www.humacharitychallenge.com. The prize excludes domestic airfares, any taxes, and travel insurance. Any pre / post night hotels and airport transfers outside the scheduled tour dates, or other ancillary costs not mentioned in the detailed trip notes or within these terms and conditions are not included.
16. The prize winner is responsible for all other items of personal nature, including spending money, insurance, transport to and from their departure point, drink, meals (except where stipulated), personal equipment and all other ancillary costs.
17. The prize winner will be required to supply a minimum of 1 blog post, 5 images and 1 social post for the Huma Charity Challenge and GoFundraise Facebook page.
18. The prize is not transferable, cannot be transferred to another person and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or offers. The prize cannot be exchanged for alternative products or services or redeemed for cash. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
19. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
20. Unless otherwise provided, if the prize or a part of the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoters reserves the right to substitute the prize or the portion of the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any applicable law. The Promoters has the right to change portions of the prize as determined.
21. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law the Promoters shall not be liable for any cost, expense, loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or inconsequential loss) or for any personal injury or damage to property which is suffered or sustained as a result of accepting the prize.
UNCLAIMED PRIZE
22. In the event of the prize not being claimed within 3 months of the draw date, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted at the same place as the original draw on 2/03/2017 at 2pm. In the event of a winner in the unclaimed prize draw, they will be notified by email and by phone.

24. The Promoters collect personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Unless otherwise advised, the Promoters may also use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoters. All entries become the property of the Promoters.
