“Win A Barossa Holiday” Terms and Conditions
(the “Competition”)
These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) govern the relationship between you, the entrant (“you”, “yours”) and the promoter, HotelClub Pty Ltd (“HotelClub”, “Promoter”, “we”, “our”, “us”) ACN 092 445 442 whose principal place of business is at Level 10, 201 Elizabeth St Sydney NSW 2000, Australia.
Eligibility
The Competition is open to entrants who are permanent residents of Australia who are18 years or older.
The following are not eligible to enter the Competition: (i) employees and independent contractors of the Promoter and/or its related party entities (i.e. parent companies and subsidiaries); (iii) immediate family members of such employees or independent contractors. In these Terms and Conditions, “immediate family members” includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters or spouse.
How to Enter
This Competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners.
To enter the Competition, an eligible entrant must, within the Competition Period, visit the Competition page on the www.hotelclub.com website, complete the required data entry fields on the entry form and answer the required question in 25 words or less.
An entry must not be late, incomplete, incomprehensible, unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, capable of encouraging conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, capable of violating any law and/or capable of giving rise to civil liability.
There is a limit of one (1) entry per entrant. The Promoter reserves the right to, at any time, verify an entry or entrant and disqualify an entrant if the Promoter, in its reasonable opinion, believes the entrant has submitted an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Competition Period
The Competition commences at 9.00am AEST on 01 October 2015 and ends at 11.59pm AEST on 31st October 2015 (the “Competition Period”) and only entries received by or on behalf of the Promoter during the Competition Period will be accepted into the Competition.
Prize
The entry selected as the winner will win the following:
- Return economy flights for 2 people from any Australian capital city
- 2x night’s accommodation at Novotel Resort Barossa Valley in a studio room including breakfast daily
- 1x 2 course dinner for 2 people at Harry’s restaurant at Novotel Barossa Valley Resort
- 1x case of South Australian Wine delivered from Naked Wines
The winners must take their prize between 01 November 2015 and 30 October 2016.
Luggage check-in and extra options (i.e. speedy boarding, etc) will be the cost and responsibility of the winners.
Travel is on confirmed space and is subject to seat availability at time of booking for airfares. Black out dates may apply and are subject to confirmation with the relevant airline or hotel.
The winner and their chosen guest MUST travel together and share the same itinerary.
It is the responsibility of the winner to arrange and confirm reservation dates for the accommodation component of their prize with the relevant hotel upon receipt of their prize voucher and no later than 14 days prior to their preferred departure date.
All other expenses including but not limited to ground transportation to and from the departing and arrivals airport, additional ground transport, all other transfers, meals and beverages, gratuities, applicable taxes, hotel service charges, airport taxes, surcharges, travel and medical insurance, additional spending money, personal expenses, souvenirs, upgrades, incidentals and expenses not expressly specified herein are the sole responsibility of the winner and their chosen guest.
Each winner must inform the Promoter at least thirty (30) days (prior to their preferred departure date to arrange airfares or ferry transfers. Normal terms and conditions of carriage apply, no stop-over is permitted and there is a maximum stay of 3 months, subject to visa restrictions. Airfare tickets are also not applicable on code share services with other operators and the prize winner is subject to further charges should this not be adhered too.
It is the responsibility of the winner to provide correct names of all persons travelling for the booking arrangements as the Promoter reserves the right to charge the winner AUD100 per guest and per change in addition to any airfare tax or surcharges that may increase related at the time of booking for any corrections that are required to any of the traveling documents due to misinformation provided by the prize winner or any change in itinerary made by the winner and/or their guest.
Travel documentation in the form of Gift Certificates, Vouchers & Air tickets provided to the winner and their chosen guest is to be presented to reservationists for redemption. Failure to present the correct documentation by the winner and/or their chosen guest means that redemption will be at the discretion of the provider and the winner and/or their chosen guest may forfeit or be charged extra costs for their prize.
If the winner fails to notify the Promoter or tour operator of a change at least 48 hours prior to departure or no-show will forfeit their prize.
No responsibility is assumed by the Promoter for any cancelled, delayed, suspended or rescheduled events once any tickets have been issued in relation to the prize for any reason whatsoever beyond its control.
The winners and their chosen guests will be responsible for ensuring travel insurance and travel papers, including passports and visa and ,where necessary, for obtaining appropriate vaccinations and inoculations are in good order and are valid prior or and for the duration of the trip. The Promoter highly recommends that travelers take out adequate travel insurance
Each prize, or any part thereof, must be accepted as awarded and is non-negotiable, non-transferable to another person and non-convertible to cash or credit. It is not possible to earn or redeem frequent flyer rewards on a prize. A prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer. All aspects of a prize must be taken together as a package.
The winners acknowledge that their prize may be subject to the terms and conditions of the operators of the relevant accommodation, air and leisure services. The winners must acquaint themselves with these terms and conditions prior to taking the prize. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility and is not liable for any additional conditions imposed on the taking of the prize, or for the breach of those terms and conditions by any person.
