Imagine waking up one morning and discovering the ocean had disappeared, which is what the residents in the small coastal town of Clapstone experience. No-one saw it coming except for Sam, who is plagued by troubling visions of this and other catastrophes. Dyschronia is a gripping read by Aussie author Jennifer Mills, whose lyrical prose in this, her third novel, weaves and raises interesting questions of consciousness and conscience.
Dyschronia by Jennifer Mills ($29.99, Pan Macmillan) is out January 30.
This is the latest instalment of the ELLE Book Club, where each month we recommend one read we know you'll love. To win a copy of this one, enter below!
