Terms and Conditions
PROMOTER
1. The Promoter is Travel Insurance Direct Pty Limited ABN 30 121 659 470 AR 305589, Level 21, 680 George Street, Sydney, New South Wales, 2000 1300 843 843 (“Promoter”).
COMPETITION PERIOD
2. The competition starts at 12:01am AEST 28 October 2016 and ends at 11:59pm AEST 5 December 2016 (“Competition Period”). All references to time are local in Sydney, Australia.
WHO MAY ENTER
3. This competition is open to all Australian residents, over the age of 18, who register on the TID website, upload an original Instagram photo or select a pre-loaded original Instagram photo from their album. In the photo’s comment section, tag #justaTID. Follow @TIDaustralia (http://www.instagram.com/TIDaustralia) on Instagram during the Competition Period.
4. This competition is not open to any employees or family members of World Nomads Group or its related bodies corporate.
ENTRANTS BOUND BY CONDITIONS
5. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
HOW TO ENTER
6. To enter, entrants must read these Term and Conditions and complete all of the following during the Competition Period and:
a) Register on the TID website https://www.travelinsurancedirect.com.au/campaigns/instagram-obsessed
b) Upload one of your original photos and tag it #justaTID in the comment section.
c) Follow us on Instagram on @TIDaustralia
d) Cross your fingers
7. Entries must be:
a) the original independent creation of the entrant;
b) owned by the entrant
c) free of any claims, including copyright or trademark claims, by other parties.
8. Entries must not:
a) have been published previously;
b) have won prizes or awards in other competitions;
c) be restricted in any way; or
d) infringe any third party rights.
LIMITATIONS ON ENTRY
9. Single and multiple entries will be accepted and a person will have a chance to win in respect to each entry submitted. Entries submitted after 12:00am AEST 21 November 2016 will not be accepted.
10. Entry into the competition is free. However any costs associated with an individual entering the competition including postage fees or any fees associated with uploading images or content is the responsibility of the entrant.
ENTRY VERIFICATION
11. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
SELECTION OF WINNERS
12. Judging will take place at Level 21, 680 George Street, Sydney, New South Wales at 10:00am AEST on 19 December 2016 for the Major Prize and 5x Minor prizes.
13. A panel of judges will choose 1 winner of the Major Prize, and 5 winners of the Minor Prizes, who they consider to be creative and original responses. The entry deemed to be most creative and original will be awarded the Major Prize listed in Clause 14. The next 5 most creative and original will be awarded the Minor Prizes listed in Clause 14.
PRIZES
14. The Major Prize pack consists of 1x Olympus OMD EM5 mkII camera worth $2,099.00 AUD, 1x One-on-one Instagram mentoring weekend on the Gold Coast (return airfare from your closest major airport and 2 nights accommodation) $2,651AUD, 1x One on one follow up session with Lauren Bath, 1x $250.00 AUD pre loaded TID Travel Money card. Total prize is up to the value of $5,000AUD
The Minor Prizes are 5x Olympus TG Tracker Action Camera to the value of $499 AUD each and 5x $100.000 AUD pre loaded TID Travel Money card. Each (5x) Minor Prize pack is valued at $599 AUD.
15. Prize values are equivalent to the recommended retail price of the relevant prize as at 17 October 2016. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in Prize value. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. In the event that any Prize or part thereof is unavailable, subject to any relevant regulatory requirements, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a Prize of equal or greater recommended retail value.
WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PUBLICATION
16. The winners will be notified in writing via email within seven (7) days of the draw taking place, and their names published on https://www.facebook.com/TIDaustralia and https://www.instagram.com/tidaustralia/ within seven (7) days of the draw taking place, for a minimum period of 28 days. When the Promoter advises the winners they have won a prize, the particulars of how the prize is to be delivered or collected will also be advised to the winner. The Promoter will not notify entrants of failure to win a Prize. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact Prize winners, however the Promoter is not responsible for contacting the winners by any other method, or for the winners not receiving notification for any reason. Entrants are responsible for providing and maintaining correct contact details. Each entrant warrants that any details provided with his/her entry are true and accurate, and the entrant indemnifies the Promoter against any loss or damage resulting from any breach of this warranty.
17. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late, incorrectly entered or misdirected entries.
18. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems, technical malfunction or failure of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, email or other communication network or system, including any failure of an entry to be received in whole or in part by the Promoter due to any of the above or on account of other technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website or telecommunication systems, or any combination of these issues.
SECOND CHANCE DRAW
19. A draw for the Prize, if unclaimed after reasonable effort by the Promoter to contact a Prize winner, may take place on 1 March 2017 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from relevant regulatory authorities. In the case of a winner, they will be notified by email within 2 days from the redraw.
PRIZE DELIVERY
20. Once the winners have confirmed acceptance of their Prize in a reply email, following notification of their win, the Promoter will supply the Prizes to the winners within the next 28 day period as follows:
Prizes will be delivered by courier or registered post to the winners nominated address. The address provided must be a valid Australian address. The winners may be required to attend their local post office or Australia Post Business Hub and provide proof of identity to collect their Prize.
Alternatively, prizes can be collected from the following address 21, 680 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000 between the following hours 9:00am-5:00pm AEST on an agreed upon date.
LIABILITY
21. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the Prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
22. By entering this Competition all entrants and participants:
a) release Instagram fully from any or all liability in connection with this competition; and
b) acknowledge that the Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram
23. Any information provided by entrants is done so to the Promoter and not to Instagram.
24. Any entrant who is found to use multiple Instagram accounts to enter the Competition will be disqualified from the Competition.
CONSENT TO USE ENTRIES
25. By entering the competition, entrants consent to the information they submit with their entry, including personal details and/or literary response, being entered into a database and the Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes (including sending electronic communication) without any further reference , payment or other compensation to the entrant.
26. All entries are the property of the Promoter.
27. The Promoter can use user generated content that we will credit to the contributor.
PRIVACY
