1. The person conducting this competition is Heritage Bank Limited ABN 32 087 652 024 (Heritage), AFSL and
Australian Credit Licence 240984.
2. The competition is open to Australian residents only (excluding Heritage employees and their immediate
families).
3. To be eligible, an entrant must fill out the blogger entrant form at heritage.com.au/savvysaver and write a blog
post about saving money. The blog must be new and original content. The blogger must display the Heritage
Bank Savvy Saver Blog Competition badge clearly on their blog and must ensure links to the Heritage Bank site
are ?follow? links. One entry per blog will be allowed. Any subsequent nominations after the first will be excluded
from the competition.
4. Bloggers will not be eligible for any prize if their writing and blog:
a) Does not meet Heritage?s values of integrity, excellence and community;
b) Is associated with illegal activity, politics or gambling.
5. One winner for each category will be determined by public voting. Heritage Bank will then select one overall
winner from the four category winners to receive an additional prize. The overall winner prize will be determined
based on the originality and quality of information of the blog. The winners will be notified by the email provided
on 12 October 2015 via their information provided on the nomination form. Winners must respond to Heritage by
19 October 2015 to be eligible for their prize.
6. Heritage reserves the right to disqualify entrants at its discretion. Heritage may disqualify an entrant for any
reason, including non adherence to the Heritage values of integrity, excellence and community.
7. Only one vote per person is allowed. To vote, a person must provide a legitimate email address. Voters must
confirm their vote via email after submitting their vote. Any votes deemed to fall outside of this rule will be
excluded from the final tally and will not be eligible to receive a voting prize.
8. To vote, a person must fill out the voting form which will display after pressing the ?vote now? button next to
their chosen blogger. A selection of 10 voters will win a $100 Heritage Bank cash card. Winners will be selected
on the basis of their 25 words or less on why they have chosen the particular blogger to vote for. The 10 most
original answers as determined by Heritage will win. Winners will be contacted via the email address provided by
15 October. Winners must respond to Heritage to claim their prize within one week of being contacted.
9. Nominations and voting open at 12:01am AEST on 7 August 2015 and close at 11:59pm AEST on 9 October
2015.
10. Subject to clause 6, the first place entry for each category will win $2,000 for themselves. The overall winner as
selected by Heritage Bank will win an additional $3,000. The prize may constitute assessable income and, as
such, entrants should seek independent advice to determine their taxation obligations.
11. Heritage accepts no responsibility for technical problems bloggers and voters may experience when using the
Heritage website or associated email systems.
12. Except for liability that cannot be excluded by law, Heritage accepts no liability for any event, circumstances, loss
or expense arising from this competition or the taking or use of a prize by the prize-winners or any other person.
13. Winning entrants must display the Heritage Bank Savvy Saver Blog Competition badge on their website for a
minimum of one year.
14. If endorsed by Heritage Bank, each blogger will be included in the Heritage Bank Blog Directory. Bloggers are
encouraged to display their endorsed by Heritage badge on their blog. Bloggers are endorsed by Heritage at
Heritage?s discretion. Endorsement is based on the blog?s overall quality, content and relevance to Heritage?s
customer?s financial journey. Heritage reserves the right to remove an endorsement at any time.
15. Entrants consent to Heritage using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner
(including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media in relation to this competition and the
promotion of any other products issued or referred by Heritage. Heritage?s Privacy Policy is available at
