Promoter
The Promoter is Phoenix Beers Pty Ltd ABN 52 824 641 743, 8/10 Dewar Street, Morley, WA 6062 (The Promoter).
The Promoter are the official Australian agents and distributors for Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, Chico, California, USA (The Brewery), however all responsibility for, benefit from and management of The Promotion rests solely with The Promoter.
Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 21 years and over. All travellers (including companions of winners), must be aged 21 years and over. Age restrictions are in place due to Californian state law, restricting the purchase and consumption of alcohol to persons aged 21 years and over, and the nature of the prize requiring some attendance at licensed premises within California.
Eligible Entrants must hold a current, valid Australian passport, and be fit for travel to the USA at the nominated time of travel, outlined under Prizes and Winning.
If a drawn winner is unable to obtain a visa to enter the USA, for any reason whatsoever, they will be deemed ineligible, and the prize either a) redrawn if such a determination is made prior to the secondary prize draw date, or b) disseminated at the behest of The Promoter if time until trip dates does not permit adequate time to conduct a redraw.
Employees, immediate family members of employees, employees of any company associated with the Promotion are ineligible to enter.
Entry
The Promotion commences on 1st November 2016 (Commencement Date) and entries close at midnight on 28th February 2017 (Promotion Period).
The Promotion is divided into two pools of entrants:
Pool Consumer Prize. To enter, Eligible Entrants must:
Obtain a unique entry code, that is located on, and individually assigned to:
Peel off stickers located on Sierra Nevada Pale or Torpedo Ale 4x473ml can packs
Peel off stickers located on Sierra Nevada Pale or Torpedo Ale 6x355ml bottle packs
Scratch cards given out at place of purchase of Sierra Nevada draft (kegged) products
Visit takemetobeercamp.com.au and submit truthfully and accurately their own name, phone number, age, place of purchase and unique entry code
Winners will be randomly selected from a pool of all Eligible Entrants at the time and date outlined below
Each unique code may only be entered once, however there are no limits on how many times a person may enter.
Pool B: Retailer/Industry Prize.
Pool B consists of all business venues that are nominated as the place of purchase by Eligible Entrants in Pool A. Multiple nominations equate to multiple entries, and there is no limit on the number of entries per venue.
To be an Eligible Entrant in Pool B, the selected venue must be a currently trading (liquor) licenced outlet in Australia, with a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) and relevant state liquor license. This includes but is not limited to; liquor retailers, bars, nightclubs and sporting clubs.
Businesses exclusively holding Wholesale, Producer’s, or equivalent liquor licenses are excluded from entering.
The prizes shall be awarded to the two businesses selected via the random draw process outlined below.
It is at the discretion of the proprietor of the winning business to nominate the person they wish to accept the prize. This person can include themselves or anyone else, and must be declared in writing to The Promoter within 10 (ten) working days of being notified of winning.
It is the responsibility of the proprietor of the winning venue to nominate an eligible person as outlined in the Official Terms and Conditions. If a nominated person is deemed ineligible, the prize may be disseminated as per the terms outlined under eligibility.
Prizes and Winning
The random prize draw will take place at 09:00am on Thursday 2nd March 2017 at the offices of The Promoter
The winners will be randomly selected from all Eligible Entrants electronically utilising third party systems, provided by Randomness and Integrity Services Limited, trading asRANDOM.ORG. Full Draw Procedure Report and Draw Service Appraisal Report are available upon request from The Promoter. Please submit all requests to info@phoenixbeers.com.au and allow 10 (ten) days for response.
Pool A Prizes: There are 3 (three) prizes, to be awarded to 3 (three) separate winners, each consisting of:
2 x economy return flights to San Francisco, California, USA, departing from any Australian state capital city
Return transfers from San Francisco CA, to Chico, CA
6 nights’ twin share or double bed accommodation
AU$500 spending money
Brewery tours, planned activities, and attendance at some meals/functions as guests of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
Total Prize pool value is approximately AU$21,826 (three prizes of approximately AU$7,275 each).
Pool B Prizes: There are 2 (two) prizes, to be awarded to 2 (two) separate winners, each consisting of:
1 x economy return flights to San Francisco, California, USA, departing from any Australian state capital city
Return transfers from San Francisco CA, to Chico, CA
6 nights’ double bed accommodation
AU$500 spending money
Brewery tours, planned activities, and attendance at some meals/functions as guests of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
Total Prize pool value is approximately AU$6,658 (two prizes of approximately AU$3,329 each).
The nature of the prizes in both Pool A and Pool B is attendance at The Brewery in order to participate, as a group with fellow winners, in “Beer Camp”; a once on a lifetime opportunity to learn how to brew beer with one of the world’s leading craft breweries. As such, travel must be taken on a specified date, for a specified period of time, and winners are obliged to participate in any activities outlined by The Promoter and The Brewery.
Travel Dates are to be between 10th July 2017 and 18th July 2017. Dates are subject to change prior to the Commencement Date. Any changes will be advertised on www.takemetobeercamp.com.au, and amendments to the Official Terms and Conditions will be submitted to the relevant state authorities.
Travel dates and destinations are not transferable, and prizes are not redeemable for cash.
Winners are solely responsible for obtaining relevant passports and Visas required for travel to the USA.
Combined Total Prize pool value is approximately AU$28,484
Prize draw conditions
Winners will be notified by phone and email within two (2) business days of the draw. The winners will have their details published via www.takemetobeercamp.com.auon Monday 6th March 2017.
If there are any unclaimed or un-awarded prizes, a secondary prize draw will be conducted on Monday 3rd April 2017 at the same time and place as the original draw.
If a winner is drawn, yet deemed ineligible as a result of not meeting conditions as per the Official Terms and Conditions, a secondary prize draw will be conducted on Monday 3rd April 2017 at the same time and place as the original draw.
