CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry by each entrant.
Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18+ years of age who enter the promotion in the required manner.
Employees of Jetescape Travel Pty Ltd, its related bodies corporate and their immediate families are not permitted to enter.
The Promoter
The Promoter” is Jetescape Travel Pty Ltd trading as BYOjet Australia ABN 68 145 039 470 / ACN 145 039 470. Level Three, 50 Appel Street, Surfers Paradise, QLD, 4217.
Duration of Promotional Period
The promotion will commence at 10AM AEST on 11th December 2017 and will continue until 11:59PM AEST on 31st January 2018 ("Promotion Period").
How to Enter
Eligible Entrants may have up to eleven (11) “primary entries” during the promotion period.
To enter the promotion and be eligible to win, Eligible Entrants must go to www.byojet.com.au/followtofly and fill out the competition entry form in full.
Eligible entrants may enter the competition through one of the following options:
Persons must go to www.facebook.com/byojet/ and like the page as per instructions to go in the draw. Undertaking this action allows the entrant one (1) primary entry.
OR
Persons must go to www.instagram.com/byojet_travel/ and follow the page as per instructions to go in the draw. Undertaking this action allows the entrant one (1) primary entry.
OR
Persons must go to plus.google.com/+Byojetau and and follow the page as per instructions to go in the draw. Undertaking this action allows the entrant one (1) primary entry
OR
d. Persons must sign up to the BYOjet Email List as per instructions to go in the draw. Undertaking this action allows the entrant two (2) primary entries.
OR
e. Persons must share this competition with friends via email as per instructions to go in the draw. Undertaking this action allows the entrant three (3) primary entries.
OR
Persons must share this competition with friends via Facebook as per instructions to go in the draw. Undertaking this action allows the entrant three (3) primary entries.
9. Entries are administered by 3rd party platform, Gleam which will be used to build the competition app.
10. There is no limit to the number of friends that can be referred.
11. In order to complete a valid entry form and subscribe to BYOjet’s Email List, eligible entrants will be required to provide their full name, current and valid email address, phone number and state. Eligible entrants must remain subscribed for the duration of the ‘Promotional Period’.
12. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoter. Incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, illegible or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid.
13. Entries must be received by the Promoter during the promotional period. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.
14. Any costs associated with accessing the Promotional Websites remain the responsibility of each entrant and are dependent on the Internet Service Provider used.
15. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in the value of any Prize.
16. If the Prize Winner does not accept any element of the Prize, the Promoter is not obliged to provide the Prize Winner with a substitute Prize.
Selection of Prize Winner
17. The competition will be drawn at random using an electronic drawing method.
18. The prize draw will take place at 9:00am AEST Thursday 1st February 2018 at BYOjet Australia, Level Three, 50 Appel Street, Surfers Paradise, QLD, 4217
The Prize Winner will be notified by phone or email by 4:00pm AEST Thursday 1st February 2018 the result will be published on http://www.byojet.com.au/followtofly by 5:00pm AEST Monday 5th February 2018.
The Prize Winner has until 5:00pm AEST Wednesday 28th February 2018 to claim the prize.
The prize winner will have until 5:00pm AEST Monday 30th March 2018 to book in their trip.
Although every effort will be made to contact the prize winners, should an unclaimed prize draw be necessary, the draw will be held at 10:00am AEST Thursday 1st March 2018 at BYOjet Australia, Level Three, 50 Appel Street, Surfers Paradise, QLD, 4217
The Prize Winner of any unclaimed prize draw will be notified by phone and email by 5:00pm AEST Thursday 1st March 2018 and the result will be published on http://www.byojet.com.au/followtofly by 5:00pm AEST Monday 5th March 2018.
Prize Details
19. There will be seven (7) Major Prize Winners. The seven (7) prize options will consist of the following components:
Prize 1:
Two (2) x return economy Singapore Airlines flights to Singapore ($2,000 AUD total).
Return economy class airfares with Singapore Airlines for two (2) adults departing from the Australian capital city airport closest to the ordinary residential address of the winner, arriving to and departing from Singapore.
Travel must be on Singapore Airlines operated services only
Ticket is for travel in Economy Class and non-upgradeable
Travel is subject to availability at the time of booking.
Tickets must be issued prior to 31 March 2018. All travel must be completed on or before 30 June 2018
Travel is not permitted between during Christmas, and School Holidays, other blackout periods may apply
Any portion of the ticket that remains unused after the expiry date shall be deemed null and void.
Changes are not permitted after ticketing
This prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods or services.
The recipient is responsible for all travel costs to and from the point of departure; all meals, beverages, accommodation, extra activities, spending money, travel insurance, passports, visas, airport transfers, freight, excess baggage, all other ancillary costs and compliance with any health or other government requirements or any other incurred expenses
No Frequent Flyer miles will be accrued as part of this prize and prize winner tickets cannot be upgraded using frequent flyer points, or by payment.
Minimum 6 month passport validity is required at time of travel.
All travel must be booked prior to the departure date by a BYOjet consultant. The airline, departure and return dates will be booked and determined at the discretion of BYOjet based on availability.
Travel is only permitted on a Singapore Airlines operated aircraft, and all travel must be completed within 35 days from the date of first departure, with no extension.
Lounge access and chauffer service are not included.
Prize 2:
Two (2) x return economy Air New Zealand flights to Auckland OR Christchurch ($1,500 AUD total).
Return economy class airfares with Air New Zealand for two (2) adults departing from the Australian capital city airport closest to the ordinary residential address of the winner, arriving to and departing from Auckland OR Christchurch, New Zealand (Air New Zealand direct operated services only).
Tickets must be booked by 30 March 2018. Valid for travel before 31 Dec 2018. Excludes travel from 15 Jun – 20 Jul 2018.
Government and Airport taxes included.
Economy tickets consist of The Works - 7kg carry on bag, 23kg checked bag, in-flight entertainment, meals and drinks.
The ticket is subject to availability and travel during peak periods and embargo periods may be restricted. This includes, but is not limited to July, August, September, school holidays and the Christmas/New Year period. We highly recommended they consider travel outside of these periods.
All travel must be booked prior to the departure date by a BYOjet consultant. The airline, departure and return dates will be booked and determined at the discretion of BYOjet based on availability.
Travel permitted on Air New Zealand operated services only.
Passports and Visas are the responsibility of the prize winner.
This prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods or services.
All fare conditions relevant to the fare booked apply including change fees.
The following costs are to be paid by the passengers: travel costs to and from airports, travel insurance, accommodation, excess baggage, meals, all taxes, fuel levies and surcharges, and all other travel related expenses.
Frequent Flyer points cannot be accrued as part of this prize and prize winner tickets cannot be upgraded using frequent flyer points, or by payment.
Lounge access and upgrades are not included.
Prize must be redeemed in one transaction and cannot be kept for more than one use.
Prize 3:
Five (5) x BYOjet Travel Vouchers to the value of $500 AUD each ($500 total).
Valid on flights booked with BYOjet Australia.
Voucher can be redeemed via the BYOjet.com.au website.
Voucher is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue.
Voucher must be redeemed in one transaction and cannot be kept for more than one use.
General
The personal information of entrants will be collected to enable the Promoter to administer and promote this promotion and to contact the Prize Winner (or, if applicable, the winner of an Unclaimed Prize Draw). Entrants agree that the Promoter may handle their personal information in accordance with the Promoter's privacy policy, which is available at: http://www.byojet.com.au/privacy, including for marketing purposes, and that the Promoter can continue to contact them even after this Promotion ends. If an entrant does not truthfully provide all requested personal information, the Promoter may determine that they are not eligible to win the Prize.
The Prize Winner consents to the use of their name, suburb of residence; image and social media name or handle for promotional and marketing purposes. The personal information of the Prize Winner and their travel companion(s) (if applicable) may be provided to others assisting, including Prize suppliers and deliverers, and to authorities that regulate this promotion.
All entrants who submit any entry to the Promoter: (a) grant the Promoter and its licensees and assignees a non-exclusive licence to exercise all rights in perpetuity throughout the world in the entry material and all other material provided by the entrant to the Promoter pursuant to this promotion at any time; and (b) represent and warrant that the exercise of the rights granted to the Promoter in these terms and conditions will not infringe the rights of any third parties; and (c) indemnify the Promoter against any loss or damage resulting from any breach of the foregoing representation and warranty.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
inaccurate/incorrect transcription of entry information;
purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, sent with insufficient postage (where entry is by post), or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions;
any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website;
unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss arising in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a Prize Winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a Prize Winner; or
any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant's or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
The Promoter will not be liable for personal injury suffered during participation in the promotion or use of the Prize, except to the extent directly caused by the Promoter's negligence. If requested by The Promoter, the Prize Winner(s), and his or her guests, must sign and return any liability release and indemnity provided by the Promoter and/or its contractors as a condition of a Prize being awarded. Failure to return the signed releases and indemnities may result in the entitlement to the Prize being forfeited and the selection of another Prize Winner.
The above conditions do not affect, and is not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have, which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its servant or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the cost of having the Prize supplied again.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax liabilities that may arise from winning any Prize.
