Oktoberfest Brisbane is held over two weekends at Brisbane Showgrounds, October 6–8 and 13–15. Times are:

Saturdays 11:00 am to 12:00 am
Sundays 11:00 am to 8:00 pm

By entering The Weekend Edition’s Oktoberfest Brisbane Competition, as a subscriber of The Weekend Edition you accept the following terms and conditions:
Competition Terms and Conditions
There will be one (1) winner of the competition who may nominate one (1) friend to partake in the prize with them.
Prize consists of : two (2) return airfares to Germany from Brisbane with Singapore Airlines valued at $4968 and seven (7) nights accommodation and activities as follows. Munich: Two (2) overnight stays for two (2) persons including breakfast in a 4-star Hotel in Munich, two (2) tickets for Nymphenburg Palace or Munich Residence, and two (2) tickets for a Gray Line Sightseeing bus tour. Approx value: $1400 AUD. Garmisch Partenkirchen: two nights with breakfast for two (2) persons. Approx value: $1200 AUD. Nuremberg: two (2) nights in the Hotel Drei Raben with breakfast for two (2) persons, plus a tour for two (2) persons of the Tucher brewery and dinner with the Tucher brewing team. Competition Dates: The Competition commences on Monday September 18 2017 and closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday October 15, 2017. All entries must be received by the Promoter by 11:59 am AEST on Sunday October 15, 2017.
Competition Draw: Winners will be randomly drawn on Monday October 16, 2017 at 5:00 pm AEST at The Weekend Edition Office, 41 Victoria Street, Windsor 4030. The Winners of the Prize will be the first eligible entries randomly drawn. The decision will be conclusive and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winner Notification: The Weekend Edition will notify winners by email by COB Monday October 16, 2017. The Weekend Edition reserves the right to use information regarding the Winners of the Competition for marketing purposes, including publication of their names on the websites maintained by the Promoter.
Hotel, rail, dining and activity bookings are subject to availability, large events & trade fair periods are excluded.
Brisbane German Language School (BGLS) classes to be booked based on availability and term dates. Please coordinate directly with BGLS to facilitate. Valid until 31/12/2018. The adult lessons are group lessons either Tuesday or Thursday evening or Saturday morning in Indooroopillly. All information on dates and curriculum can be found at www.bgls.org.au. Term dates correspond to normal QLD public school term dates.
Tucher Brewery tour and hosted dinner scheduled based on brewer’s availability. Oktoberfest Brisbane will put the winner in contact with the brewery to coordinate arrangements once travel is booked.
Singapore Airlines Terms and Conditions: Two (2) return Economy Class tickets for travel from Brisbane to Germany (Frankfurt, Munich or Dusseldorf) on Singapore Airlines.The following conditions apply:
Travel must be on Singapore Airlines operated services only
Ticket is for travel in Economy Class and non-upgradeable
Travel is subject to availability at the time of booking.
Tickets must be issued prior to 31 March 2018
All travel must be completed on or before 30 June 2018
Travel is not permitted between during Easter and School Holidays, other blackout periods may apply
Ticket is valid for 35 days from the date of departure
Any portion of the ticket that remain unused after the expiry date shall be deemed null and void
Changes are not permitted after ticketing
Ticket is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash
The recipient is responsible for all travel costs relating to government taxes, airport charges and all levies and surcharges (Approx. $200 per ticket)
