Hi, quick question - is it possible to suggest a competition to be added to the site? I can't find how to submit competitions.
Just did an extensive survey on gambling on poker machines and spent a lot of thought and spent about 20 minutes on it and finished it in total and was then told I didnt qualify, good way to get opinions and not pay anything for it I guess.

This has happened to me over last couple of days also. I even did the online chat that it says to do if you don't receive the points but haven't heard yet (and that was originally from 13th Oct, plus 1 today). Did you also notice how much the survey points have decreased by over past couple of months?

Twice in the past week including today I have not received the newsletter. Checked spam and junk files but not there. You chat line has not been answered for over a month now and is never attended. Waste of time having it at all. Difficult to enter the guessing game withoit receiving the newsletter so I dont bother with surveys now either.
Just a suggestion. Admin of this site should insist it be a mandatory requirement for companies to have written details regarding when and where the competition results will be published and who the winners are. After forking out over $70 purchasing a product (required for entry) it would be nice at least to have some kind of proof it was a legit competition.
Hello @she-oak! most purchase competitions are legitimate and are governed under strict rules and T&Cs. Sometimes there is a delay before actual winners are drawn. And yes some companies get a little slack in announcing the winners on their site. Maybe contact the company via their 'contact us' screen and ask the question.@admin kindly find and list the competitions but unfortunately don't have any say in how the comp is run by the company. @fourleaf Thanks for responding. I have contacted them, twice. Once to the particular outlet I purchased the item from and the other to their head office. Neither one of them have responded. The competition closed around a month ago. It's just disheartening when there are so many scams these days because you never know if you're next when it comes to being ripped off. Anyway I guess it's out of admins control. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
@she-oak, very disheartening for an expensive entry.....if you can find the T&Cs that is usually a wealth of information including whether they have outsourced the competition to a marketing company who will be across it. Keep trying and if necessary make some loud noises on their social media accounts or if you feel strongly enough fill out a form on the ACCC web site. Don't be disheartened, there are a lot of good, well run comps out there.... :)

It was for a Nokia camera and the promoter was ShopMyLocal. By the time I paid for the bottle of Glen Grant scotch (which by the way I don't even drink alcohol at all - I gave it to my sister) and also with postage it came to a little over $70. I just feel a little ripped off. It's not the fact that I didn't win. I just like to see that the prizes offered were honoured. I've been entering competitions all my life and I've never come across one where the winners were not published. Maybe it's what they do now. I would never have normally entered a competition where I had to spend so much - especially for something useless to me (like alcohol) but the camera prize was so appealling. I am an amateur photographer and pensioner and around a year ago my house was broken into and ransacked and my camera was stolen. Like I said I was taken in by the possibility of winning a camera. Members announce winners here, from mostly Facebook and Instagram. Perhaps have a look, and if you'd like to join, send a request through to the moderator/s. Hi, boocuddles60. There's an icon in the lower right of this Forum page. Looks like a stylised head and shoulders, in a circle. If you click on that, it should open a fresh chat session. I tried to attach an image of the icon but couldn't. Another glitch to be ironed out perhaps. Hope this helps. (Mac OS X, Opera as browser).

i have been trying to redeem a giftcard for the last week and it keeps saying that it is going to be accessible within 24 hrs - 48 hrs.i have no response on the chat either anyone else having this problem
yes I have had pretty much the same thing - no response at all! I redeemed points over a week ago and nothing yet. contacted site via chat 2 times and no response as yet!

keeps saying flexi gift card site is under maintenance and also you can't choose how much you want to redeem as it automatically goes to the highest points you have available
Apologies everyone, due to fraud, we've had to cap Flexi Card in recent times to ensure redemptions made are legitimate. We take fraud seriously and will be working on improving this system ASAP.
@admin sorry that the site has been misused/abused by certain individuals. Time to Spring Clean your subscribers list it sounds like, and have vetting protocols in place for new subscriber uptake. I'm sure you're on to it. Will be interesting to see the impact on the Guessing Game and the spread of winners. 'Some' seem to be awfully lucky...

Hi, Just remebered to lot in as it seems I have not received any emails for months! I actually forgot about this site and I was previously a regular.Is there a reason why? Sometimes I thought I received too many emails I could not keep up - but just the opposite now. Previously I had found emails in my junk mail, but I have been checking that fairly regularly and nothing at all there either.Just noticed the website has been changed but not had a chance to look at it and use it yet.
The site has only been changed for about one week. I stopped getting emails too, but when I messaged them, I got emails within two hours.
Was wondering if there is anyway to see what numbers I entered in each weekly guessing game (like we used to always see) as I like to pick the same "lucky" numbers and I can never remember what they were LOL. (I was going to write them down but I can't see my numbers from before the site got updated). I also think the site is very modern now and colourful, really catches my eye. I preferred the Competition pages the way they were as they were much easier to see at a glance so we knew which days they were added etc.

Yes same for me - doesn't matter which one I try to do, doesn't go anywhere and just gives me the 5 points, very frustrating as I had 15 there all of a sudden and thought woohoo I might earn some points and then nothing :(

So who is entering Travel Comps? I am reading the T&Cs on these really carefully because I've seen some that you have to take before May 2020 & others before Sept 2020.

Thank you Competitions for the 5,000 points this morning, it was so unexpected but lovely to receive.
Just did one survey and got no points for it, other than 5 points screened out and then did another one and then it said screened out, after answering heaps of questions on climate change. What's the go with that? So I've sat here for 20mins doing this and not getting the points. Geez!!!
I have fully completed 2 surveys today only to be told at the very end that I do not meet the requirements for the survey and was awarded only 5 points instead of the 110 that was listed for this. Not happy
I didn't qualify for a 3 minute survey - clearly aimed at smokers which I'm not - and didn't even get the non-qualifying category 5 CompBux. This system is 'buxted'!

update - just had my first newsletter in weeks (maybe it's back to normal now?)
I got one today 9 Jan 2020.
They stopped and then started up again but now seem to have stopped again. I haven't received one since Tuesday 21st January. Before that they were coming daily but they stopped for weeks over Xmas time. From early December until early January. Don't know what's happening, even their Facebook page isn't up to date either. The last post on there was April 2019. Weird way to run a competition line!!

I have not seen a newsletter since 24th when it kept saying error 404 and support has been reporting away for 2 months now. I send an email advising this or these issues and never received a reply at all. I go into it every day for past 14 months so I am very dissapointed with it especially the lack of contact. Its like they are hiding or somefhing. No newsletter then no bonus entry but can still enter 1 entry if you go directly to the website.
I received a message that he is changing email providers that's why there's a problem.
Then why not put up a note to that effect on the website letting everyone know?

Posting on daily on your blog is not a good strategy in any way! Instead, schedule 2-3 good blog posts a week and use the remaining time to share them on different social platforms on different search engines. That will save enough time for your subscribers to come back to read your posts and engage.
