The promotional competition is called "Travello's Million Dollar Traveller," and the promoter is Travello Trading Pty Ltd ABN: 95 619 075 599, located at 2/121 Newmarket Rd, Windsor, Q 4030. The promotion starts on Monday, May 1, 2023, at 12:01 am (AEST) and ends on Monday, July 31, 2023, at 11:59 pm (AEST).

Who is eligible to enter the competition, and how can they enter?

To enter the competition, an entrant must be 18 years or older. They can enter in two ways:
(a) Via email entry on the promoters campaign landing page, resulting in one (1) entry by filling in the entry form to enter the competition. Entries are limited to a maximum of 1 entry per eligible email.
(b) By booking any tour or activity on or from Travello, Backpacker Deals, or any of their affiliate partner white label sites. A customer will receive five (5) entries for every booking made. There is no maximum limit on entries for this method.

What is the prize, how many winners will there be, and what is the total prize pool worth?

There are 1 major prize and 4 minor prizes to be won. The major prize is a chance to select one out of 100 envelopes where one envelope delivers a $1,000,000AUD prize. If the major prize winner does not select the $1,000,000 AUD, they will be awarded a $10,000 Travello travel voucher to be used on any tour/activity around the world on the Travello platform. The major prize winner who resides 100km or more outside of Brisbane CBD will also receive transfers and accommodation for the Participant to attend the Game up to the value of $700. The four minor prizes include a $2000 Travello voucher, a Voucher for One Life Adventures, a Voucher for G Adventures, and a Voucher for Intrepid. The total prize pool is valued up to $1,019,000 AUD.

How will the winners be selected and when will the draw take place?

At the conclusion of the promotion period, two (2) entries that satisfy the terms and conditions of entry will be randomly drawn from the pool of entries. One entry will be from the general pool, and one entry will be from the Golden Ticket Pool. The draw will occur on August 1st in Brisbane, and a further three people will be drawn at this time to fill the minor prizes. The winners list will be posted on the Travello website and contacted by email/phone. The "final 2" entrants (for clarity, this is the first 2 people drawn) will travel to the destination chosen (TBC) for the final Draw. These 2 finalists will then have one round of a game of chance to determine who will draw for the final million-dollar prize. The winner will be chosen via a game of chance in an "envelope style" draw, facilitated, overseen, and scrutinized by Loss Adjusting Services Australia, who will be in attendance. The final draw will be open to the public and media.
