RESIDENTS of the Claws exhibit at SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium are getting snappy, with the friendly crustaceans enjoying their new crab shaped tanks.
Since the launch of the new exhibit in April, Claws has been impressing visitors young and old with this spectacular underwater display.
Visitors can learn about all things crustacean, including the Japanese Spider Crab (above), the largest crab species in the world. Or check out the smallest of the team, the fiddler crabs, who have been winning many hearts with their tiny bodies and out of proportion giant claws, or the irridescent blue swimmer crabs (right).

This school holidays also sees the launch of the new Glass Bottom Boat experience.
Visitors can get up close to the giant sting rays, sharks and hundreds of colourful fish in the 2.2 million litre Oceanarium. Watch these stunning creatures cruise through the water from above, see their fins cut through the surface and even feed them!
