Competition Terms (Game of Skill)
Information on how to enter the competition and information about the prizes form part of these terms. By entering the competition, you accept these terms.
Eligibility
To be eligible to enter, you must:
be an Australian resident;
be 18 years of age and over; and
not be our employee or an immediate family member of our employee (or an employee of an agency associated with the competition).
Entry is free.
We may (in our absolute discretion):
verify entrant’s identity, age and the validity of entry;
disqualify entrants who submit an entry that is not in accordance with these terms or who tampers with the entry process;
disqualify entrants who enter using multiple aliases;
accept entries that contain errors or omissions; and
deem incomplete, plagarised, defamatory or indecipherable entries invalid.
Entering
To enter the competition:
Sign up to our eNews as a new customer and answer the question: If there's a Target product you wish you had, tell us how it could make your life better in 25 words or less, and we could make your wish come true.
Entries must be received between 12:01AM (AEDT) on [8/03/2021] and 11:59PM (AEDT) on [28/03/2021] Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by us (and not at the time you submit the entry).
Entries are not limited.
Upon receipt by us, entries become our property.
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
Selecting a winner
We will select 10 winners at 9:00AM (AEDT) on [29/03/2021]at 2 Kendall St, Williams Landing VIC 3027.
The competition is based on a game of skill. The winner will be selected from the pool of eligible entries which comply with these terms and demonstrate creativity and originality (as determined by us in our absolute discretion).
The winner will be notified and awarded the prize by email by 12:00PM (AEDT) on [31/03/2021].
Awarding the prize
The prize comprises of the following:
10 x $500 online gift card valid for four years
The prize is valued at up to $[500] (including GST).
The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. If the prize is not available, we may (in our absolute discretion) substitute the prize for another item of equal or higher value as determined by us (in our absolute discretion).
Upon the winner claiming their prize, we will provide all relevant information regarding his or her prize. If the winner is not able to participate in or accept any part of the prize, the prize will be forfeited.
Changing the competition
If the competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of misdirected entries, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond our control, we may (in our absolute discretion) cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected entries.
Liability
We (and our officers, employees and agents) are not liable for any loss, expense, damage or liability suffered or incurred by you in connection with the competition, including:
any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible or misdirected entries;
any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction;
any theft, unauthorised access or interference by another person;
any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected;
any variation in prize value to that stated in these terms;
any tax liability incurred by you;
use of, or taking of, a prize; or
participation in the competition.
Nothing in these terms limits, excludes or modifies the statutory consumer guarantees or implied warranties under the Competition and Consumer Act 2013 or similar state legislation.
Privacy
Collecting personal information: When you enter the competition or if you are selected as a winner and awarded the prize, we collect your personal information, such as first name, last name, state, telephone number and e-mail address. Without your personal information, we may not be able to effectively run the competition, select a winner and award the prize. If you wish to access, update or correct your personal information or obtain a copy of our privacy policy, please contact us on 1800 814 788. While we work hard to ensure your personal information is safe and secure, we are not responsible for any unauthorised access to, and disclosure of, your personal information. Nothing in these terms limits, excludes or modifies our obligations under the relevant privacy legislation.
Using your personal information: We do not use your personal information for any other purpose, except to run the competition, select a winner and award the prize, as well as to market and promote other products and services which may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive marketing and promotional material from use, please contact us on 1800 814 788 or select “unsubscribe” on the marketing and promotional material. We do not sell or rent your personal information to another person for their own marketing and promotional purpose, without your express consent.
Disclosing your personal information: We may provide your personal information to our service providers, some of whom may be located outside Australia, who assist us with our business, including prize suppliers, data processing, data analysis, online computing, contact centre, legal, accounting, business consulting, auditing, archival, delivery and mailing services. While we believe our service providers also work hard to ensure your personal information is safe and secure, we are not responsible for their conduct. We may disclose your personal information for the following purposes:
responding to lawful information requests from courts, government agencies and lawyers;
investigating and dealing with suspected fraud and unlawful activity;

Right to use name and likeness
If you are selected as the winner, you grant us the right to use (and to license others to use) your name and likeness to market and promote the competition, us or our business, without royalty, payment or other compensation.

Entrants and winners of this competition release Facebook entirely relating to the conduct of this competition and selection of winners.
