Who can enter the competition?
All residents of Australia can enter the competition. However, employees of Special Broadcasting Services Corporation (“SBS”), their associated companies and agencies, and their immediate families are ineligible.
When does the competition start and end?
The competition starts on Monday 2 October 2023 at 12:00pm AEDT and ends on Sunday 22 October 2023 at 12:00pm AEDT. Entries will only be accepted during this Promotional Period.
How can one enter the competition?
To enter the competition, participants must follow the directions on SBS Food. They need to fill in their details, which may include their name, email, and address. By entering, participants agree to be automatically signed up to the SBS Food newsletter.
What is the prize to be won?
The prize is 1 copy of Adam Liaw’s 7 Days of Dinner cookbook, valued at AUD$49.99 (RRP) inclusive of GST. There are 10 of these prizes available.
What is the total worth of the prizes?
The total prize pool is valued at AUD$499.90 (RRP) inclusive of GST.
How many times can a person enter?
Unless advertised differently, individuals are limited to one entry. The use of automated software or other means that allows a participant to enter repeatedly is prohibited.
When and where will the prize draw take place?
The prize draw will occur at SBS Food on Sunday 22 October 2023 at 12:00pm AEDT. Winners will be notified by phone, email, and/or mail within 2 days of the end of the competition. Their names will also be published on SBS Food no later than 30 days after the prize draw.
What happens if a prize is unclaimed?
An unclaimed prize draw will take place three months after the original draw, specifically on Sunday 21 January 2023 at 12:00pm AEDT at SBS Food. Winners of unclaimed prizes will be notified by phone or email within 2 days of the unclaimed prize draw, with their names published on SBS Food no later than 30 days after the redraw.
Are there any conditions tied to accepting the prize?
Yes, the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.
