Conditions of Entry to “Win 1 of 10 Family Passes to Raiders v Roosters plus a McDonald’s Family McValue Box” (Promotion)
ENTRY CONDITIONS
1. This document contains the terms and conditions of entry (“Terms”) into the register to ‘Win 1 of 10 Family Passes to Raiders v Roosters plus a McDonald’s Family McValue Box’. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms. Ten (10) prizes available in total to be won.
2. The Promoter is Canberra Raiders Pty Ltd, ABN: 31 068 819 152, 2 Eade Street, Bruce ACT 2617 Australia (“Promoter”).
3. The Prize Supplier is McDonald’s Australia Limited, ABN: 43 008 496 928, 21-29 Central Avenue, Thornleigh NSW 2120 Australia (“Supplier”).
4. The Promotion will open at 9am, Australian Daylight-Saving Time (“ADST”) on Monday 6th August 2018 and will continue until Midnight, Sunday 12th August 2018, Australian Daylight-Saving Time (“ADST”) (“Promotion Period”). All entries must be received by the Promoter/Supplier during the Promotion Period.
5. The Promoter and the Supplier reserve the right to change the Promotion Period at any time. (e.g. extend the promotion closing date, in order to deliver the agreed digital value scheduled for the Promoter / Supplier)
6. The promotion is open to all residents of Australia aged over 18 years of age. Excluding employees of the Promoter/Supplier and other agencies, firms or companies associated with this Promotion, and their immediate families (“Eligible Entrants”). Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin. If an entrant is under 18 years of age, they must have their parent or guardian's consent to enter this promotion. The Promoter/Supplier reserves the right to request this consent in writing.
7. The total value of the prize is $250.00 (including GST) based on the following prize: Winner will receive 5 General Admission Tickets to the Raiders v Roosters Match at GIO Canberra Stadium on Sunday 19th August, 2018. Plus 1 x McDonald’s Family McValue Box Voucher, valued at up to $19.95. (Valid at any McDonald’s ACT & Queanbeyan Restaurants until 2nd September 2018)
8. To register for the Promotion, entrants must during the Promotion Period, visit the ‘Win 1 of 10 Family Passes to Raiders v Roosters plus a McDonald’s Family McValue Box’landing page, fill in all the required fields and click the submit button at the bottom of the page.
9. The Promoter/Supplier, subject to State and Territory legislation, reserves the right not to accept a registration for any entrant (or to disqualify an entrant) if the Promoter considers that the registration contains anything defamatory or is otherwise inappropriate or is not submitted in accordance with these Terms.
10. An entrant may only register as an individual with only one valid entry per person accepted into this promotion.
11. The winner will be randomly selected from the pool of entrants who have supplied their relevant details through the entry page.
12. The multiple prize draw will take place at Raiders HQ on Tuesday 14th August, via random selection. The Promoter and the Prize Supplier, reserve the right to change the prize draw date at any time.
13. The winner of the prize will be notified by telephone and in writing, within one (1) business day of the draw. The winners name will also be published electronically within the Club Business section of the Canberra Raiders website.
14. In the event that the winner is unable to be contacted, and all reasonable methods of communication are unsuccessful, or in the event that the winner is unable to attend, the unclaimed prize will be re-distributed by an unclaimed prize draw conducted by the Promoter/Supplier within (1) week of the original prize draw.
15. The Promoter/Supplier collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, agents, contractors, service providers. Entry is conditional on providing this information.
16. By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Entrant agrees and acknowledges that:
a. They may be contacted by the Promoter/Supplier to provide comments about McDonald’s ACT and Canberra Raiders promotions and offers.
b. They may be contacted by the Promoter/Supplier to communicate with you by means of direct mail, email, phone, SMS and MMS messaging, for direct marketing purposes. On such occasions, you will be provided with an opportunity to opt-out of receiving further marketing information. You may also contact the Promoter/Supplier at any time if you do not wish to receive marketing and/or promotional information.
17. The Promoter/Supplier may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information gathered for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter/Supplier. All entries become the property of the Promoter/Supplier.
18. For avoidance of doubt, entrants consent to the Promoter/Supplier using their name and image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion and subsequent similar promotions.
19. The Promoter/Supplier reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity and age) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
20. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into about this Trade Promotion, excluding Regulatory organisation obligations.
21. Any ancillary costs associated with attending the ‘Win 1 of 10 Family Passes to Raiders v Roosters plus a McDonald’s Family McValue Box’ promotion, is not covered by the Promoter/Supplier. These costs need to be funded by the prize winner.
22. The prize offered is subject to change at any time, however is unlikely to change. The Promoter and the Prize Supplier reserve the right to offer a substitute prize of comparable value if for some reason, the prize stated in these Terms and Conditions is not available.
23. As a condition of accepting a prize, the winner may be required by the Promoter/Supplier to sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or Prize Supplier in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
24. If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter or the Prize Supplier, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
a) to disqualify any entrant; or
b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate.
25. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter/Supplier (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
b) any theft, unauthorised access or third-party interference;
c) any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
NOTES:
a) It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize, and/or directions by Promoter/Supplier representatives;
b) The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
