Competition Terms and Conditions – “Win 1 of 10 Samsonite Red Bags” Social Competition
The promoter is Samsonite Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 310 063 63 248) of 5 Anzed Court, Mulgrave Victoria 3170 ('Us', 'We' and 'Our' from this point on). We will facilitate the fulfilment and management of the competition and prizes.
These are the Terms and Conditions for the Samsonite “Win 1 of 10 Samsonite Travel Accessories Packs” competition.
Who Can Enter –
2. Entry is only open to residents of Australia aged 16 years and over. Employees of Samsonite, their immediate family and agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
When To Enter –
3. The promotion commences at 11am 5th December 2016 (AEST) and closes at 11am 19th December 2016 (AEDT).
The winners of the competition will be drawn on 20th December 2016 at 11am (AEDT) at Samsonite Australia, 5 Anzed Court Mulgrave 3170 VIC. The winners of the competition will be announced on 21st December 2016 at 1pm (AEDT) at Samsonite Australia, 5 Anzed Court Mulgrave 3170 VIC via Instagram and Facebook.
The winners will be notified via email.
The winner will be publicly announced via an Instagram and Facebook post on 21st December 2016 once the promoter has made contact with the winner.
If the winner cannot be contacted or does not contact the promoter by 5pm 21st March 2017 the winner will forfeit their prize and the promoter will redraw the winner of the prize at 10am on 22nd March 2017.
How To Enter –
4. To complete an entry, individuals will need to:
- Visit the Samsonite Australia Website Competition Page
- Click the ‘WIN’ tab or link to “Win 1 of 10 Samsonite Red Bags” page.
- Follow the app prompts
- Pick your favourite Samsonite Red Bag
- Fill in personal details including first name, last name, date of birth, gender, email address, contact number.
- Choose if they would like to sign up to the Samsonite mailing list (optional)
- Tick that they accept the competition T’s and C’s
- Submit their entry
Entrants who have completed all of these steps during the competition period will go in the draw to win.
5. This competition is a game of chance and not skill. The winner will be randomly selected electronically.
6. Only one entry is permitted per person, per individual e-mail address. No entries shall be accepted before the Opening Date or after the Closing Date. Third party or bulk entries will not be accepted and entries not in accordance with the entry instructions are invalid.
Prize -
7. Ten (10) entrants will win a prize.
The prize includes the winner’s choice of 1 (one) of the following:

Darkhan Backpack RRP $219
Colours and styles dependent on stock availability.
Total Possible Prize Value: $1940
8. The prize must be taken as stated and cannot be varied. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash or sold. Prizes subject to change by promoter, colours and styles dependent on stock availability.
9. The winner will be contacted via email to accept their prize and provide a contact number and delivery address for their prize. Samsonite will send the prizes to the winners delivery address. No PO boxes will be accepted as postal address.
Samsonite accepts no responsibility for unread, undelivered or incorrectly provided email or telephone information. In the event a winner does not take the prize by the time stipulated, then the entire prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
The winner will be publicly announced, using their full name, on the Samsonite Facebook and Instagram page (https://www.facebook.com/SamsoniteAustraliaNZ/, https://www.instagram.com/samsonite_au/) via a winners post.

10. We (and each of our related bodies corporate, their officers, employees and agents) will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) whatsoever that is suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion, the promotion of this promotion, the receipt or use of this prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. We are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, or providers, computer equipment, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including but not limited to, any injury or damage you may suffer or any other persons computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this promotion. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster we reserve the right (subject to any written directions under applicable law) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this promotion.
11. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter.
12. The laws of Australia apply to this promotion to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
