Competition Period close Date & Time Friday 17th August at 3:00pm (AEST) or whenever the maximum number of Prizes have been awarded, whichever comes sooner. The Promoter reserves the right to amend the contesting period at its absolute discretion; the Promoter reserves the right to terminate the competition subject to any direction from a regulatory authority 8. Entry Restrictions Promotions are not open to: a) Entrants must be over the age of 18 to enter the competition and claim their prize b) Employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter or any of its agencies involved with the Promotion; c) The spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, or sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent) of such employees and contractors (whether or not they live in the same household); d) Any person who is discovered to have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win any Promotion run by the Promoter except in the case of a legal change of name; e) Any person where that person or anyone from the same family or household has won a prize or prizes from the Promoter on the radio station or on any station owned or controlled by the Australian Radio Network valued either individually or collectively at more than $500 in the 30 days prior to the commencement of the Promotion, or $20,000 in the 6 months prior to the commencement of the Promotion. f) Promotions are open to permanent residents in the State or Territory (whose call is directed to KIIS 1065 when they call 13 1065) in which details of the Promotion are broadcast by the Radio Station unless otherwise specified in the Terms and Conditions. 9. How to enter At various times during the Competition Period: (a) KIIS 1065 Listeners will hear a sample of a selected song (title & artist may also be communicated) and will be encouraged to stay tuned to hear the full selected song. (b) Once listeners hear the full selected song (in its entirety and not part of any promotion or advertising material) played on air, the correct caller through to 131065 selected by the promoter (and in its absolute discretion), and put to air and will be deemed a winner and receive a prize. (c) Once a prize is won, from this moment on, the selected song will no longer have a prize associated with it and can be played on air as normal as part of the KIIS 1065 music catalogue. (d) The promoter reserves the right to use a song that has previously been selected as a ‘Cash Track’ on another nominated day throughout the promotional period. The winner(s) will be determined at the discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter will determine at its discretion the opening and closing times for the receipt of calls/entries on each Contesting Day. 10. Draw Details N/A 13: Prize Details There are up to 150 cash prizes of between the value of $500 to $10,000 AUD. The promoter will announce on air the specific prize amount to be won in each contesting element. Prize money will be electronically transferred into the Major Prize Winner’s nominated Australian bank account. 14: Total Prize Value The total prize value is up to $60,000 AUD incl GST 15: Winner Notification Winners will be notified: - on air at the time of winning - on the Station Website 16. Publication Details Winners will be published on the Station Website ‘WIN’ Page. 17: Prize Claim and Delivery Prizes must be claimed within 3 months of their win date. Prizes will be transferred via eft within 4-6 weeks from the date of winning. 18. Prize Claim Date and Time & Unclaimed Prize Draw All winners will have a three month period from the time of winning to claim their prize. If the winner does not claim their prize within a three month period they will forfeit their prize. ARN/KIIS 1065 will not be liable if the concert date has passed prior to the winner claiming their concert tickets. All unclaimed prize draws will take place at KIIS 1065 – 3 Byfield Street, North Ryde NSW 2113 17. Special conditions Entry is available to people eighteen (18) years or over with an eligible Australian bank account. Entry is not open to any person where that person or anyone from the same family or household has won a prize or prizes from the Promoter or any radio station that is a member of the Australian Radio Network, valued either individually or collectively at more than $500 in the 30 days prior to the commencement of the Promotion or $20,000 in the last 6 months. By entering this competition, entrants grant to the Promoter a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use any materials provided as part of their entry for marketing and publicity purposes. Should the Contesting Segment not be able to run live, the Promoter will pre-record a contest with random callers from another contest set for this promotion which will run on the pre-recorded show day within the contesting period. Any caller who is chosen to participate in a prerecorded segment will be made aware at the time of calling. Prizes awarded are subject to availability and are at the complete discretion of the Promoter.
