Entry to the promotion is open to Australian residents in all eligible states/territories who fulfill the method of entry requirements and are 18 years of age or older.
When can they enter?
The promotion starts at 12:00 AM AEST on 24th July 2023 and ends at 11:59 PM AEST on 7th August 2023. No entries will be accepted outside this time. Note: New energy contract must be held for at least 30 days to be eligible to win.
How can they enter?
To enter, eligible entrants must switch energy or gas contract after comparing and clicking through via ShopBack’s Energy Comparison tool (via the app or web). Entrants must retain copies of all purchase receipts for all entries. Each entrant can have one entry linked to a new connection/contract, and the contract must be held for at least 30 days to be eligible to win.

What is the prize and its worth?
Twenty prizes are to be won at the end of the promotional period, awarded to different winners. Each winner shall receive $2,097.50 AUD in Cashback, credited to that winner’s ShopBack account, making the total prize pool $41,950.00 AUD (including GST).
How many entries are allowed?
One entry per person, linked to a new connection/contract. The entrant can only win one prize in this promotion (except SA). Each entry must be supported by separate purchases.
When and how will the winners be notified?
The winners will be drawn on Tuesday 12th September 2023 at 3:00 PM AEST in the presence of an independent scrutineer. They will be notified via email & phone no later than 2 business days after the draw. The winners' names will be published on www.shopback.com.au on 15th September 2023.
Is there an unclaimed prize draw?
Yes, an unclaimed prize draw will occur at 3:00 PM AEST on 22nd September 2023 in the presence of an independent scrutineer (if required) for unclaimed prizes. The winners of unclaimed prizes will be notified via email & phone within 2 business days after the unclaimed prize draw, and their names will be published on www.shopback.com.au no later than 7 days after the draw.
(Note: The promotion is available to eligible entrants in all eligible states/territories, except WA and Far North QLD customers can only switch gas.)
