Win 1 of 3 EFTPOS Gift Cards - 1. The promotion is called “2020: What are your New Year financial goals?”(Promotion).
2. By entering this Promotion, Participants accept and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions of
entry (Terms and Conditions). Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these
Terms and Conditions.
3. The Promoter is Australian Central Credit Union Ltd trading as People's Choice Credit Union
(People’s Choice), ABN 11 087 651 125, Australian Financial Services Licence 244310 and Australian
Credit Licence 244310 of 50 Flinders Street, Adelaide SA 5000. Ph: 13 11 82 (Promoter).
4. The promotion commences at 09:00am Australian Central Daylight Time (ACDT) on
Monday, 6 January 2020 and closes at 05:00pm (ACDT) on Wednesday, 15 January 2020 (Promotion
Period).
5. Prizes consist of a $50 EFTPOS voucher for each of three (3) winners. Total prize value $150. Prizes
are not transferrable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
6. To participate in the promotion you must:
(A) be a resident in Australia (excluding New South Wales);
(B) be aged 18 years or over
(C) follow the web link, fill out your details as prompted, and provide your answer to the question
in 150 words or less, “What are your New Year financial goals?” during the promotion period.
Only one entry is permitted per entrant during the Promotion Period.
7. In the event of any dispute, People’s Choice may determine, in its absolute discretion, whether a
person is an eligible entrant or eligible to win a Prize.
8. The first three (3) valid entries drawn by random selection on Thursday 16 January 2020 at 11:00am
(ACDT) at People’s Choice; Level 14, 50 Flinders Street, Adelaide will win a $50 EFTPOS Voucher.
9. The Promoter will contact prize winners by telephone or email on the day of the draw with
instructions on how to claim their prize. Prizes must be claimed by 2.00pm (ACDT) on Friday, 24
January 2020 or redraw will take place at 3.00pm (ACDT) on Tuesday, 28 January 2020.
10. If a winning entry is deemed to not comply with these Terms and Conditions, and therefore not
eligible to win the Prize, another winning entry will be determined by an immediate re-draw at the
same location.
11. Except where otherwise required by law, People's Choice's decisions in relation to the Prize draw
(including any redraw) and all other aspects of the promotion are final and no correspondence will
be entered into.
12. The collection and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this Promotion
will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, which adheres to the Privacy Act
1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. A copy of the Promoter’s Privacy Policy is available
at peopleschoicecu.com.au or on request.
13. By accepting the Prize, you consent to a People’s Choice representative making contact with you to
discuss your entry further for marketing purposes. You consent to the use of your name, city of
origin and image by People’s Choice for promotional and marketing purposes and you agree to
participate in reasonable promotional activities as requested by People's Choice. Your personal
information will be collected to enable People’s Choice to administer and promote this promotion
and may be used to market services to you. People’s Choice’s Privacy Policy at
https://www.peopleschoicecu.com.au/legal/privacy/ applies to all such personal information.
14. To the greatest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all warranties, representations or
guarantees regarding the Promotion and will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury
whatsoever which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to indirect or consequential
loss) as a result of, in connection with, or arising out of the Promotion, a person’s entry being
deemed to be invalid or the taking by a winner of the Prizes. By entering the Promotion, the
Entrants release and indemnify the Promoter from any such liability. In addition, the Promoter is
not liable for any additional costs associated with the taking by a winner of the Prizes and any
expense incurred beyond the specified Prize will be the responsibility of the winner.
15. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter provides the Prizes 'as-is', and makes no
representations, warranties or guarantees regarding the quality, suitability, merchantability or any
other aspect of the Prizes.
16. The above Terms and Conditions do not affect, and are not intended to affect, any rights you may
have as a consumer, which cannot be excluded under any applicable consumer protection law.
17. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of being run in the manner described in these Terms
and Conditions, including, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering,
unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of
People's Choice which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper
conduct of this promotion, People's Choice reserves the right in its sole discretion but subject to
the approval of those authorities that have issued permits for the conduct of this promotion, to
cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this promotion.
18. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement of the parties relating to the conduct
of this promotion.
