2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and older, where the Channel Seven and affiliate broadcasting signals are received, and are subscribers of the Sunrise Family Newsletter. 2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Ansible Pty Ltd, Mango Communications Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter. 3. HOW TO ENTER 3.1 The competition commences on Tuesday 3 March 2020 at 10.00am (AEDT) and concludes on Friday 6 March 2020 at 10.00am (AEDT) (“the Competition Period”). 3.2 In order to enter, Sunrise Family newsletter subscribers must click on the ‘Marvel Universe LIVE!’ tile in the newsletter. Viewers will be directed to the designated competition page on the Sunrise website (www.sunrise.com.au) and register their full name, address (including postcode), Marvel Universe LIVE! Location (i.e. Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney or Perth), a valid email address and telephone number, along with the code word as provided in the newsletter. 3.3 Entries must be received by Friday 6 March 2020 at 10.00am (AEDT). 3.4 Entries are limited to one entry per person, per phone number. Multiple entries will not be accepted. 3.5 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrant. The winners agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use their entries in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use. 4. PRIZES 4.1 There will be three (3) winners of the Promotion who will receive the following prize: ? 1 x family pass (consisting of 4 x Gold Reserve passes) to see Marvel Universe LIVE! in their capital city (Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney or Perth) on the below dates: o Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Thursday 26 March 2020; o Rod Laver Arena Melbourne on Thursday 2 April 2020; o Brisbane Entertainment Centre of Saturday 11 April 2020; o Qudos Bank Arena Sydney on Thursday 16 April 2020; or o RAC Arena Perth on Saturday 25 April 2020. TOTAL: $236.00 TOTAL PRIZE VALE: $708.00. Prize value is correct as at the date of printing. The winner is not entitled to receive any money from any party if there is a difference between the maximum prize value and the actual prize value at the time of the draw. Promotion 2 / 5 4.2 The winner and their companions are responsible for all other expenses including but not limited to flights, accommodation, transfers, meals, incidentals, tips, telephone calls, service charges, spending money, visas, activities, tickets or passes, room service, telephone calls, mini-bar items, laundry services, insurance, excess payable on insurance claims, extended travel dates, passports and visas (if applicable). 4.3 Winner and their companions must be available to attend the Marvel Universe LIVE! event on the dates specified for their nearest capital city on Thursday 26 March 2020 at Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Thursday 2 April 2020 at Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne, Saturday 11 April 2020 at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Thursday 16 April 2020 at Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney or Saturday 25 April 2020 at RAC Arena, Perth. 4.4 All prize inclusions are subject to availability at time of booking. There is no cash alternative. Prize is nonrefundable and non-transferable. If a particular prize element is unavailable, then a replacement to the same value will be provided. 4.5 All components of the prize must be taken together by the winner and their companions. 4.6 The winner and their companions must make their own way to the event in their nearest capital city. The prize does not include any costs the winner and their companions may incur to travel to the event. 4.7 All components of the prize must be redeemed at the same time and no changes will be permitted after the confirmation of any redemption. 4.8 Ticket arrangements must be made through the Sponsor. The Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated or stolen tickets. 4.9 The winner and their companions must present themselves to the box office on the day of the event to redeem their tickets. 4.10 A valid form of identification is required for ticketing purposes. The name on the tickets must appear exactly as written on the winner’s identification and that of the winner’s companions. The Promoter and Sponsor are not responsible for being denied entry or any re-issue costs charged by the event due to an incorrect name supplied. 4.11 The booking of ticket arrangements will be based on availability of tickets at time of booking. No changes are permitted to arrangements once tickets are issued. 4.12 Individual supplier terms and conditions apply. 4.13 The Promoter and Sponsor are not responsible for the cancellation, delay or rescheduling of any part of the Prize component and any costs incurred by the winner or their companions as a result will be the responsibility of the winner. 4.14 No compensation or alternative plans will be arranged should the winner and/or their companions miss the event for any reason. These costs will be the responsibility and expense of the prize winner and their companions. The Promoter and Sponsor are not responsible for any costs associated with the event components that are cancelled or delayed for any reason. 4.15 The prize must be taken as stated and no competition will be payable if the winner or their companions are unable to use the prize. If the winner and their companions are not available to attend the event in their nearest capital city on the dates stipulated in clause 4.3, the Winner must forfeit their Prize and the Prize will not be redeemable for cash. 4.16 The winner and their companions agree to abide to any prevailing terms and conditions of the ticket providers or services providers, and in particular, any health, behaviour, age and safety requirements. No compensation will be payable by the Agent of the Promoter if a winner or their companions are unable to use any element of the prize as stated for whatever reason, including ejection, delay, refusal of entry into the event or participation in certain activities for health, age, behaviour or safety reasons. Any tickets, passes or vouchers issued as part of a prize are subject to the prevailing terms and conditions of use are only valid for use within the stated duration on the tickets, passes or vouchers issued, and are not replaceable if lost, stolen or damaged. Any part of a prize that is not taken for any reason is forfeited by the winner. 4.17 The Promoter or Sponsor accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance or redemption of the prize, or this Competition. The Promoter and Sponsor accept to responsibility for any variation in prize value. 4.18 The Promoter and Sponsor reserve the right to require the winner and their companions to sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter, Sponsor, or suppliers of prizes, in their absolute discretion including without limitation, a form of waiver or release with respect to acceptance or usage of the prize, or any liability arising out of or in relations to the prize or this Competition. 4.19 This prize has no official resale value and may not be authentic if purchased from a third party. Prizes may not be resold, offered for resale, used for advertising, promoting or other commercial purposes without the written consent of The Seven Network. 4.20 The prize cannot be altered in any way, is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. 4.21 Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competition and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services by the bearer. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission. 4.22 Scalping warning: The resale of tickets in certain circumstances is governed by ticket sales legislation and may attract criminal penalties. 4.23 Camera, audio and video recorders may not be permitted. The right is reserved to broadcast or telecast any event. 4.24 It may be a condition of entry that a search of person and/or their possessions will be required at the time of entry into the venue. 4.25 In participating in the prizes, the winners (and travelling companion if applicable) agree to participate and cooperate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. HOW TO WIN 5.1 There will be three (3) winners of the Competition. Each entrant who has entered the Competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with clause 3 (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the draw. The major prize draw will take place at Ansible Pty Ltd, Level 3, 100 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010 on Friday 6 March 2020 at 11.00am (AEDT). 5.2 The Winner will be notified by email or by phone by Monday 9 March 2020. 5.3 If required, an unclaimed prize draw will be held on Friday 20 March 2020 at 10.00am (AEST) at Ansible Pty Ltd, Level 3, 100 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010. The Winner will be notified by email or by phone by Monday 23 March 2020. 5.4 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result. NO LIABILITY 6.1 The Seven Network (Operations) Ltd & affiliates, Ansible Pty Ltd, Mango Communications Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies associated with this promotion, will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail. 6.2 If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, subject to state legislation. 6.3 In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to state legislation. 6.4 In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the Prize. 6.5 The Seven Network (Operations) Ltd & affiliates, Ansible Pty Ltd, Mango Communications Pty Ltd and their associated employees, agencies and companies associated with this promotion will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim, damages, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential) as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way connected with this promotion and/or its prizes that may occur: a) during the draw; b) in the participation in any prize; c) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail; d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person; e) due to circumstances outside the promoter’s reasonable control. 6.6 The Promoter reserves the right to reasonably amend or vary these terms and conditions at its sole discretion, orally or in writing, for the purpose of Seven’s programming, scheduling or production requirements, subject to State legislation. 7.
