toffey was founded by brisbanites tahlia maynard and cody shorter. tahlia was a manicure every fortnight kind of gal and with a supportive boyfriend in finance realised that her fabulous nail addiction had become an expensive hobby. tahlia decided that she would start doing her own manicures at home, but quickly worked out that she wasn’t getting the same results as she was by her nail technician. she began her diy gel polish journey by trialling a few different brands and found herself unhappy with either the product or the service. she thought they could do it better… so that’s just what they did. cody and tahlia created a brand that loves fashion but isn’t hung up on appearance, that encourages women to take beauty matters into their own hands whilst still looking as beautiful as ever.
