Australian Dance Theatre will tour the highly acclaimed and electrifying work, Be Your Self across Australia as part of their 50th anniversary celebrations.
Be Your Self explores the fundamental question about “self”using the body as the focus for this inquiry. The result is a performance filled with dynamic vitality that is breathtaking to watch and stimulating to think about. The work integrates contemporary dance, music, spoken word and video into an extraordinary, immersive experience. The dancers are transformed into erupting, powerful, creative entities projecting a plethora of physical images and impressions set to a haunting yet playful electronic score.
