Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra performs Sanctuary, a signature event in Queensland Music Festival including a world premiere by Australian composer Joe Chindamo (commissioned by Andrew and Renata Kaldor) featuring husband and wife musicians Diana Doherty (oboe) and Alexandre Oguey (cor anglais).
Devised in collaboration with Katie Noonan and presented with Queensland Music Festival, the program also includes Beethoven’s Song of Thanksgiving from Quartet op.132, Brooke Green’s heart-wrenching Reza Barti, Telemann’s humorous concerto about frogs, and music by Queenslander Connor D’Netto. A wild card mystery guest will join the ensemble on the night in a performance not to miss!
