Win 1 of 5 trips to The Whitsundays!

General
1. Participation in the Win a trip to The Whitsundays for you and your crew competition (“the Promotion”) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The promoter of this Promotion is Whitsunday Tourism Association Inc. (ABN 23 574 179 504) trading as Tourism Whitsundays (“the Promoter”).

Who can enter?

3. Entry is only available to adults aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

How to enter?

4. The Promotion commences at Friday 24 January 2020 and ends at 11:59pm (AEST) on Monday 4 May 2020 (“Promotion Term”).
5. Entrants must, during the Promotion Term -
• Comment on the Win a trip to The Whitsundays for you and your crew post in either Facebook or Instagram
• Comment in 25 words or less why they would like to win
• Like the Adventure Airlie Facebook or Instagram Page
and
• Tag 3 mates
6. It is a condition of entry to the Promotion that the comments submitted may be used by the Promoter in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting the Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting, advertising or marketing any product or services, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
7. Prizes
The value of the prize pool is $7,000 and consists of five (5) separate and different prize packages (“the Prize Packages”) including*;
• Prize Package 1. 2 day 2 night sailing on Atlantic Clipper with True Blue Sailing valued at $2,240
• Prize Package 2. 3 nights’ accommodation at Magnums Airlie Beach and a full day tour on Thundercat with Red Cat Adventures valued at $1,476
• Prize Package 3. 3 nights’ accommodation at Discovery Parks Airlie Beach and a full day tour on Camira with Cruise Whitsundays valued at $1,336
• Prize Package 4. 3 nights’ accommodation at Base Airlie Beach Resort and a full day tour on Ocean Rafting valued at $1,112
• Prize Package 5. 3 nights’ accommodation at Airlie Beach YHA and an Airlie Adventure tour with Whitsunday Jetski Tours valued at $836
8. The Prize Packages, or any unused portion of a Prize Package, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Prize Packages will not be reinstated, refunded or replaced, even in the event that the reservation is cancelled or changed.
9. The Prize Packages listed are subject to availability and may change at the discretion of the Promoter.
10. If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize equal to the value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
11. Each Prize Package is for four (4) adults.
12. Flights are not included in the prize package.
13. All Accommodation, activity and overnight sailing bookings of a Prize Package must be booked and used before 30 May 2021 and are subject to availability at the time of booking and at the Supplier’s discretion depending on level of occupancy. All applicable booking terms and conditions of the Supplier apply.
14. The winner of a Prize Package may add services or stay additional nights; however, the winner is responsible for any additional costs.
The draw
15. Entries received during the Promotion Term will be combined in the “Entry Pool”.
16. The competition will close at 11.59pm on 4 May 2020 and winner(s) will be decided by 12.00 noon on 11 May 2020.
17. Prize Packages will be decided by majority vote of a panel of judges – comments will be judged on artistic merit, originality, subject and style.
18. The winner(s) will be notified by the Adventure Airlie Facebook and Instagram page and Instagram page by 5pm on Monday 11 May 2020.
The winners
19. The winning entrant has 48 hours from the time and date of the notification to respond and claim the relevant prize. If the prize is not claimed within this time frame, the prize will be redrawn, and any previous winners will forgo claims to the prize.
20. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
21. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries, prize claims and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry or prize claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
22. It is a condition of accepting a Prize Package, that the winner consents to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting the Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting, advertising or marketing any products or services, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
