TERMS AND CONDITIONS
From 15th December 2017 up to and including 15th February 2018, Speed Queen (1300Washer Pty Ltd) is running ‘Thanks a Million’ promotion in Australia, the details are as follows:
All Australian residents are able to enter this competition via our website www.thanksamillionaustralia.com.au
How it works: During the months from the 15th of December through to the 15th of February Australian residents will be given the opportunity to register their details to win a commercial quality home Speed Queen washing machine. At the same time, the entrant, will be given an opportunity to vote for one of the listed charities to also receive a Speed Queen washing machine.
On the 16th of February 2018 the day after the competition closure, 6 (six) lucky winners will be drawn from all entries received. One winner will be drawn per the following states & territories: NSW / ACT, NT / SA, QLD, TAS, WA, VIC; six winners in total.
Speed Queen will distribute six washing machines between the nominated charities. Charities will be notified on the outcome of the competition on the 16th of February 2018.
Entrants
The following criteria needs to be met for all competition entrants:
1) Entrants must be an Australian resident, residing in Australia.
2) Entrants must older than 18 years to enter.
3) Entrants must provide a means of contact at time of entry. A valid email address, state or contact number.
4) By entering this completion the entrant warrants that they meet the entry requirements.
Entries into competition
1) To enter into the draw to win one of six washers, full entry details must be completed by visiting www.thanksamillionaustralia.com.au
2) As part of the competition criteria, all entrants need vote for one of the listed charities on www.thanksamillionaustralia.com.au
3) No incomplete entries will be accepted.
4) Entrants must provide a means of contact at time of entry. A valid email address, state or contact number.
5) Only one entry will be accepted via website www.thanksamillionaustralia.com.au however a bonus entry will be offered to those who like Speed Queen Australia Facebook post relating to this competition www.facebook.com/speedqueenaustralia1/
6) Speed Queen (1300washer Pty Ltd) reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control without any obligation to compensate any damages (if any) on behalf of entrants. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
Time frame
The following criteria needs to be met for all competition entrants:
This competition will run from the 15th of December 2017 (AEST) up to and including 15th of February 2018 (AWST).
The six winners of a Speed Queen commercial quality home washing machine will be randomly drawn from completed entry forms including any bonus Facebook entries from each of the following states / territories: NSW / ACT – 1 Winner, NT / SA – 1 Winner, QLD – 1 Winner, TAS – 1 Winner, WA – 1 Winner, VIC – 1 Winner; six winners in total.
This draw will take place on Friday 16th of February 2018 at 12h00 at the premises of Speed Queen (1300Washer Pty Ltd) head office in Darra Queensland. Winners will be notified by email or phone after the draw has been successfully completed. The winner is able to claim the prize up to three months after notification. After this period, entitlement to the prize automatically expires.
Speed Queen will distribute six washing machines between the nominated charities. Charities will be notified on the outcome of the competition on the 16th of February 2018.
Charities will be contacted by Speed Queen (1300Washer Pty Ltd) to discuss delivery of their new Speed Queen washing machine. Speed Queen (1300 Washer Pty Ltd) will appoint the third party supplier to handle the delivery. However, Speed Queen (1300 Washer Pty Ltd) is not responsible for any defects caused by delivery or shipping (e.g. delays, strikes, damage or loss) with respect to the delivery of the machine.
Costs and expenses
Entrants are responsible for all of their own internet / electrical costs used to enter this competition. Expenses raised from entering this completion will not be reimbursed regardless of whether or not the entrant wins the competition. Please be aware of any fees from your providers you may be liable for.
Disqualification
Any entrant may be disqualified if Speed Queen (1300washer Pty Ltd) reasonably suspect any unlawful or improper conduct during the promotion, or a breach of the terms and conditions laid out in this document.
Intellectual property
All logo’s, images or copy used in this promotion via Speed Queen (1300washer Pty Ltd) or any of its partners remain the sole property of Speed Queen (1300 Washer Pty Ltd) or it’s partners. All licensed material used included but not limited to images, logo’s cannot be copied, posted electronically or by any other medium without the permission of Speed Queen (1300 Washer Pty Ltd).
Privacy
All personal information collected by Speed Queen (1300 Washer Pty Ltd) for the duration of this competition will be compliant with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act. No personal information will be given to any third parties and used only to ascertain the winners of this promotion and conduct promotional activities relating to the competition and/or the announcement of the winner through media, including radio, television and internet.
Cooperation
At the request of Speed Queen(1300 Washer Pty Ltd) , the winner(s) of the prize will cooperate in promotional activities of the Provider to the extent that can be reasonably expected of them, including publicity regarding the announcements of the winner(s) across all media including radio, television and the Internet. For cooperating with these promotional activities no financial compensation will be paid.
