Promotion Period Entry into the Promotion commences at: 12:01 am ACDT Monday 16 January 2023 Entry into the Promotion closes at: 11:59pm ACDT Sunday 19 February 2023 5. Eligible States and Territories Clause 2 South Australia 6. Age Restriction Clause 2 Entrants and any companions (if applicable) must be: All ages permitted. If under 18 years of age, express permission of parent/guardian is required before entering this Promotion. Parent/guardian may be required to accompany that entrant/companion when using the Prize or participating in the Promotion. Prizes will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian who consented to the entrant registering in the Promotion on behalf of that entrant, at the sole discretion of the Promoter, and that parent or legal guardian must accompany that winner for the duration of the Prize (if applicable). 7. Maximum Number of Entries Clause 3 Entrants may enter the Promotion as many times as they wish, however, entrants may only win one (1) prize each. For the avoidance of doubt, unless otherwise expressly stated, entrants may only win one (1) Prize each in the Promotion. 8. Entry Method Clause 3 Website Entry During the Promotion Period entrants must complete the online entry form and register their details in the manner required on the Website and answer in 25 words or less the question: “Tell us in 25 words or less why your cricket skills make you a Balfours Beach Bash contender”. All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter based on the Judging Criteria. The Promoter will select up to fourty (40) entries deemed to be the ‘best’ (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) and will award each of those entrants the initial Prize of an invitation to the Balfours Beach Bash. Balfours Beach Bash On Saturday 25 February 2023, at a time and location to be decided by the Promoter, fourty (40) best Website entrants will be invited to participate in several activities (as determined in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) at the Balfours Beach Bash to compete for the Major Prize. The entrants will be placed into four (4) groups of ten (10) based on age categories (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion). Each entrant will be given six (6) chances to hit a cricket ball from a bowling machine with a cricket bat as far as they possibly can (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion). Within each group, the two (2) entrants who hit the ball the furthest distance (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) will be awarded a Major Prize. For the avoidance of doubt, there will be up to eight (8) Major Prize Winners. 9. Entry Restrictions Entrants must be able to travel to a location in Adelaide, SA to be advised by the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion) on Saturday 25 February 2023 to participate in the Balfours Beach Bash. All participants will be filmed on the day for the Promoter and prize supplier’s promotional purposes. Participants (or their parent/guardian) will be required to sign an indemnity and release consent form in order to participate. 10. Judging Clause 4 All valid entries will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) by 4:30pm ACDT Monday 20 February 2023 at the Promoter’s premises. All valid entries will be judged based on the Judging Criteria. 11. Judging Criteria Clause 4 All valid entries will be judged (by representatives of the Promoter) on originality, creativity and suitability or as otherwise specified by the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion). Where entrants are required to participate in a challenge or on-air game (if applicable), the Promoter may specify the relevant judging criteria prior to or at the time of the challenge or on-air game. 12. Prize Clauses 8 - 15 Initial Prize There are up to fourty (40) Initial Prizes to be won as follows: - One (1) x invitation to attend and participate in the Balfours Beach Bash on Saturday 25 February 2023. Major Prize There are up to eight (8) Major Prizes to be won, each comprising of: - AUD $1000 cash 13. Prize Restrictions Clauses 8 - 15 Prize must be taken on certain dates Entrants and their companion/s (where applicable) must be able to attend the Balfours Beach Bash on Saturday 25 February 2022. The time of the Balfours Beach Bash will be revealed by the Promoter to winners in due course (in its sole and absolute discretion). 14. Total Prize Value Up to AUD $8,000 15. Prize Delivery Clause 8 Initial Prize The winner's (and their companion/s, if applicable) name will be on the guest list at the event. Major Prize The prize will be transferred to the winner's nominated bank account via electronic funds transfer (or the nominated bank account of the winner's parent/guardian if the winner is under 18 years of age). 18. Additional Conditions Any winner under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate in the Balfours Beach Bash on Saturday 25 February 2023. Winners (or their parent/guardian) will be required to complete an indemnity and release form before participating in the Balfours Beach Bash.
