2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2 and 2.3, entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 14 or older, where the Channel Seven, and affiliate broadcaster, signal is received. 2.2 Entrants aged over 14 but under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this Competition. 2.3 Employees, and immediate family members of employees of Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Pty Ltd, Ansible Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter the Competition. For the purpose of this clause, immediate family member means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin. 3. HOW TO ENTER 3.1 The Competition commences on Friday 2 December 2022 at 09:00 AEDT and concludes on Friday 3 February 2023 at 09:00 AEDT (“the Competition Period”). The eligible entry periods for the KFC Bucket Moments Competition will commence and conclude on the following dates and times (“Entry Periods”): Bucket Moments Head to Head Start Date (at 09:00 AEDT) Close Date (at 09:00 AEDT) 1 Friday 2 December 2022 Friday 9 December 2022 2 Friday 9 December 2022 Friday 16 December 2022 3 Friday 16 December 2022 Thursday 22 December 2022 4 Thursday 22 December 2022 Monday 2 January 2022 5 Monday 2 January 2022 Thursday 12 January 2023 6 Thursday 12 January 2023 Sunday 22 January 2023 7 Sunday 22 January 2023 Friday 3 February 2023 3.2 The Competition will be advertised on, but not limited to, the Seven Network (“the Network”) during the Big Bash League and Cricket Test Matches (“the Programs”), www.7plus.com.au, and supporting promotional media throughout the Competition Period to provide details on how to enter the Competition. 3.3 COMPETITION ENTRY: In order to enter the Competition, entrants must complete the following steps during the Competition Period: • Head to 7plus.com.au/bucket; • Watch the two (2) featured “Moments” and vote for their favourite Moment; and • Complete all required fields in the Competition entry form. 3.4 For clarity, “Moments” refer to a variety of archival moments in Cricket over the decades, which will be featured on the promotional website for entrants to vote upon. Choice of “Moment” has no bearing on whether an entrant will be eligible to win a Prize. {00020038}KFC Bucket Moments 2023 Competition 2 / 6 3.5 Entries that meet the requirements of clauses 3.3 and adhere to these Terms and Conditions will be deemed a Valid Entry (“Valid Entry”). All Valid Entries will be entered into the Major Prize Draw. Valid Entries will also be entered into the State-Based Minor Prize Draw, the Weekly Minor Prize Draw corresponding to the Entry Period in which they are submitted, and the Instant Win Draw (“Prize Draws”). 3.6 Entries are limited to one (1) Valid Entry per person each day throughout the Competition Period. 3.7 Entrants can only win one (1) Minor Prize (including both State Based and Weekly) and one (1) Instant Prize throughout the entire Competition Period (excluding residents of SA who are eligible to win more than one Minor Prize and Instant Prize). All entrants, including Minor Prize Winners (including both State Based and Weekly) and Instant Prize Winners, are eligible to win the Major Prize. 4. PRIZES 4.1 There will be One Hundred and Seventy Six (176) winners (“Winners”) in total randomly drawn from all entries (except the State-Based Prize Winners which shall be drawn from all entries from each state and territory as set out in clause 6.5) received online who will received one (save for SA entrants who are eligible to receive more than one prize) of the following prizes (together the “Prize/s”): (a) One (1) Major Prize Winner; (b) Eight (8) State-Based Minor Prize Winners; (c) Seven (7) Weekly Minor Prize Winners; and (d) One Hundred and Sixty (160) Instant Prize Winners 4.2 The Major Prize Winner will receive the following Prize: Major Prize Full Details Prize Value One (1) Major Prize • $10,000 Cash (transferred via EFT) $10,000.00 TOTAL MAJOR PRIZE POOL VALUE $10,000.00 4.3 The State-Based Minor Prize Winners will each receive the following Prize: Minor Prize Full Details Prize Value Eight (8) x Prizes • One (1) x Full BBL Team Uniform (including shirt, pants, cap and jacket) $279.97 TOTAL STATE BASED MINOR PRIZE POOL VALUE $2,239.76 4.4 The Weekly Minor Prize Winners will each receive the following Prize: Minor Prize Full Details Prize Value Seven (7) x Prizes • $1,000.00 cash (transferred via EFT) $1,000.00 TOTAL WEEKLY MINOR PRIZE POOL VALUE $7,000.00 4.5 The Instant Prize Winners will each receive the following Prize: Instant Prize Full Details Prize Value One Hundred and Sixty (160) x Prizes • One (1) x $25 KFC Voucher $25.00 TOTAL INSTANT PRIZE POOL VALUE $4,000.00 {00020038}KFC Bucket Moments 2023 Competition 3 / 6 4.6 Total maximum prize pool value for the Prize is $23,239.76 (including GST). Prize value is correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in Prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the Prize/s is awarded. 4.7 Once a Prize is accepted, Winners must deal directly with Ansible Pty Ltd as distributer of the prizing. 4.8 Prize/s are not transferable, exchangeable, and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise advised. 4.9 In accepting their Prize, the Winners agree to participate in and co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, and the Winners grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the Winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use. 4.10 Winners agree they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation. 4.11 It is a condition of accepting a Prize that the Winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize and the Promoter’s and Sponsor’s requirements. 4.12 In the event that an element of a Prize outlined in the above is not available for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute with a similar product of equal or greater value, subject to state regulations. 4.13 Winners may be required to provide valid identification to the Promoter and/or Ansible Pty Ltd. 4.14 If there as a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of an entrant. 4.15 Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid. 4.16 The Promoter may require Winners to sign a waiver of liability and indemnity in the form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. 4.17 The Promoter may vary these Terms and Conditions at its discretion, subject to state government legislation. 4.18 The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process including but not limited engaging in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the Competition. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. 4.19 The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid. 5. PRIZE CONDITIONS CASH 5.1 Cash Prizes will be transferred via EFT to the Winners’ nominated bank accounts. 5.2 Cash Prizes will be fulfilled within twenty (20) working days of Ansible Pty Ltd receiving all required forms and details from each Winner. KFC VOUCHER 5.3 KFC Vouchers will be sent via mail and must be redeemed in full, in-store when placing an order. The vouchers will expire on Tuesday 3rd February 2026 and will not be valid from this date. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming a KFC Voucher are not included. Any unused balance of a KFC Voucher will be forfeited and no change will be given. Redemption of a KFC Voucher is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the KFC Voucher. BBL TEAM UNIFORM PACK 5.4 Each BBL Team Uniform Pack will contain 1 x Shirt, 1 x Pants, 1 x Cap, 1 x Jacket. The kit will be that of one (1) of the eight (8) teams competing in the BBL|12 and selection of team is at the Promoter’s absolute discretion. 5.5 The sizing of the merchandise within the BBL Team Uniform Pack will be determined by the Promoter at its absolute discretion. 5.6 BBL Team Uniform Packs are not exchangeable. {00020038}KFC Bucket Moments 2023 Competition 4 / 6 5.7 The BBL Team Uniform Pack allocated to each Winner will be determined by the Promoter at its absolute discretion. 6. HOW TO WIN 6.1 This is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining Winners. 6.2 Each entrant who has entered the Competition in accordance with these Terms and Conditions during the Competition Period (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the Prize Draws. Entries that do not comply with any of the Terms and Conditions may be deemed invalid. 6.3 The Major Prize Draw will draw one (1) Winner from all Valid Entries received during the Competition Period. 6.4 The Weekly Minor Prize Draws will each draw one (1) Winner from all Valid Entries received during the corresponding Entry Period. 6.5 The State-Based Minor Prize Draw will draw eight (8) Winners from all Valid Entries received during the Competition Period. One Winner (1) from each state with a team competing in the BBL|12 (except NSW and VIC where two (2) Winners will be drawn, corresponding with their two (2) teams competing in the BBL|12). All Winners names will be published on the 7Plus website from Friday 3 February 2023. 6.10 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result. 6.11 The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid subsequently to a Winner being notified or a Winner’s name being announced if it is discovered that the Winner did not enter the Competition in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. In these circumstances, the Promoter will conduct a redraw to allocate the Prize to a valid Winner. 6.12 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. 6.13 Once the Prize is accepted, Winners must deal directly with Ansible Pty Ltd to organise Prize fulfillment. Winners will be required to provide Ansible Pty Ltd with details required for Prize fulfillment including, but not limited to, delivery address and bank account details for EFT transfer. 6.14 KFC Vouchers and BBL Team Uniform Packs will be posted within ten (10) business days of Winners confirming their delivery address to Ansible Pty Ltd. Items will be posted via express, registered post. 6.15 In the event of an unclaimed Prize, an Unclaimed Prize Draw will take place Ansible Pty Ltd, 100 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2010 on Monday 1 May 2022 at 11:00 AEST, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winner/s, if any, will be notified via e-mail and phone call within five (5) days of the Unclaimed Prize Draw. The Unclaimed Prize Winner’s details will be published on the 7Plus website from Friday 6May 2022. 7. NO LIABILITY {00020038}KFC Bucket Moments 2023 Competition 5 / 6 7.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, COVID 19, pandemic, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same Terms and Conditions, subject to state government legislation or any direction from any regulatory authority. 7.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Kentucky Fried Chicken Pty Ltd, Ansible Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for Prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail. 7.3 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Kentucky Fried Chicken Pty Ltd, Ansible Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur: a) during the draw; b) in the acceptance, participation or use of any element(s) of a Prize; c) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail; d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person; or e) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this Competition. 7.4 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Kentucky Fried Chicken Pty Ltd, Ansible Pty Ltd and its associated agencies and companies assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to state government legislation. 7.5 If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation. 8. Seven Network (Operations) Limited (ABN 65 052 845 262) and its related entities (“Seven”), is collecting your personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Competition, including for the purpose of identifying and notifying the Winner and understanding our audiences. Seven will otherwise handle your personal information in accordance with Seven’s Privacy Policy which is available on our website at http://www.sevenwestmedia.com.au/privacy-policies (and which contains information regarding how you can access your personal information, correct it and/ or make a complaint about our handling of your personal information). By providing your personal information below, you agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy. Without limiting the foregoing, Seven may disclose the entrant’s personal information to its related entities, business partners and external service providers for research and profiling purposes as well as other purposes reasonably related to the entrant’s relationship with Seven.
