No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or to win. Participants are not required to opt in to Sheplers email marketing to enter. The giveaway is subject to applicable federal, state, local and municipal laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Sheplers also reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the giveaway at any time if it determines, in its sole discretion.
1. ELIGIBILITY: This giveaway is open to residents of the contiguous 48 states plus Alaska and Hawaii who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Giveaway also open to international customers subject to international rules based on your country. Employees of Sheplers and vendors of Sheplers are ineligible. Prize winner will be required to complete, execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and a publicity release (where legal) within (48) hours of prize notification.
2. HOW TO ENTER GIVEAWAY: To enter, visit us at: SHEPLERS $10,000 CASH GIVEAWAY and submit your information. Giveaway begins on or about January 3, 2017 at 9:00:01 a.m. Central Daylight Time ("CDT") and ends March 31, 2017 at 11:59:59 p.m. CDT. Entrants are limited to one (1) entry per person during the giveaway period. If Sheplers determines any entry is fraudulent, duplicated, or lacks required information, the entry will be eliminated from the giveaway. As a condition of entering this giveaway, you will be asked to provide certain personal information about yourself, such as your name, email address, and phone number.
3. PRIZES: One (1) winner will receive $10,000 in cash from Sheplers. Prizes are not redeemable/exchangeable. No prize transfers. No substitutions are allowed. Prize will be awarded in the form of a check. All decisions made by Sheplers are final. Maximum retail value = $10,000. Odds of winning depend on the number of people who enter the giveaway.
4. SELECTION & NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all valid entries received. The winner will be notified of their prize via e-mail or phone on or about April 10, 2017. Winners must respond by email or phone call within three (3) days to receive the prize. If the winner does not respond within three (3) days, a new winner will be selected by Sheplers.
5. PRIZE ACCEPTANCE: The winner may be required to complete a W9 form for tax purposes, as all tax liabilities are the sole responsibility of the winner. Consult your tax advisors and/or financial advisors regarding the tax implications. The winner may waive their right to receive a prize. Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable. Sheplers makes no guarantee of the prize value. Failure to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules may, at the sole discretion of Sheplers, result in the winner's disqualification and the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize. Except where prohibited, participation in the giveaway constitutes a winner's consent to the publication of his or her name and image (pictures provided by the winner or pictures taken by Sheplers) in online promotional announcements and other promotional material from Sheplers and to the inclusion of his or her name and image in any other related publications or websites for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or additional compensation.
6. GENERAL RELEASE: By entering the giveaway, you release Sheplers, its vendors or promotional sponsors and each of their respective affiliated companies (including parents, affiliates, and subsidiaries), directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agents from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the giveaway or with the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light). Sheplers will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other giveaway materials.
