Stratco Win One Wednesday – Terms & Conditions of Entry
This document sets out the terms of participation in Stratco Australia's Win One Wednesday competition.
By entering the Competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Entry as stated on the competition entry page. The Promoter may in its discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions of Entry.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
Conditions of Entry
Information on how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of entry. This Promotion is administered within a third-party App (ShortStack.com) and hosted on Facebook.com that may incorporate a complete release of Facebook by each entrant or participant upon approval. Each entrant is providing information to the Promoter and not to Facebook.
Eligibility
Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members are not eligible to win the prize draw.
Entrants must be Australian residents 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Entry
The competition can only be entered through the Stratco Australia official Facebook page. To enter the promotion entrants must log in to their active Facebook account and go to the Stratco page on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/Stratco) during the promotion period, which will be every Wednesday of each week from 12.01am- 11.59pm (ACST), until Stratco notifies any change. They must then become a 'fan' of the page by liking it, access the Win One Wednesday competition tab and follow the prompts.
It is a condition of entry that entrants must "Like" the Stratco Facebook page.
Entries received after 11.59pm (ACST) will be ineligible to participate in that weeks prize draw. Entry into the competition is only valid for that week only, not for subsequent weeks. Participants will need to re-enter in future to be considered for upcoming prizes.
Prizes
There will be a different prize, of less than or equal to the value of $150 AUD, awarded each week, which will be selected by the Promoter at their discretion.
If the prize is a gift card, the card is only valid until the card expiry date specified on the card and is subject to terms and conditions imposed by Stratco. Once awarded, the Promoter is not liable for any card that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.
Prize Draw
The prize draw will be conducted at Stratco (Australia) Pty Limited, 125 Cavan Road, Gepps Cross, SA, 5094.
The prize draw will take place at 9.00am (ACST) each Thursday.
The first valid entry randomly selected from all entries for the promotion period will win the selected prize.
Claiming Prizes
The winner will be notified via email after 9.00am (ACST) on the day after the promotion. It is the responsibility of entrants to check their email and contact Stratco to claim the prize. If an email address is invalid, a new winner will be redrawn.
The name of the winner will also be published on the "timeline" of the Stratco Facebook page.
The winner will be required to visit their local Stratco store to pick up their prize.
In the event of the prize not being accepted or claimed within 3 months of the draw, the relevant prize winner's entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a further draw at noon (ACST) on the day after the 3 month period has lapsed at the same location as the original draw as is necessary to distribute the prize. The prize winner will be notified via email and the name of the prize winner will be published on the timeline of the Stratco Facebook page.
General
The Promoter is not responsible for any ancillary costs incurred by the prize winner relating to entry to the competition or redemption of the prize.
The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. No receipt will be issued.
No correspondence will be entered into and the Promoter's decision as the judge, on any aspect of the competition, is final and binding on all participants.
The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this promotion by, any person who tampers with or benefits from the tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the promotion or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
The frequency and duration of the prize draws is at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
Promotion will commence May 2013 and close at the discretion of the Promoter.
If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory, where required.
The Promoter will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
The Promoter may disclose entrants' personal information to the State/Territory gaming authorities and the winner's name may be published as required under the relevant legislation. The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. The Promoter's Privacy Policy is available on the Promoter's website www.stratco.com.au.
