General
1. By participating in the CoinJar competition to win $1000 worth of Bitcoin and a signed guernsey from Melbourne Demons, each participant fully and unconditionally agrees and acknowledges that these Terms and Conditions are binding.
2. The promoters are CoinJar Pty Ltd ABN 43 163 543 824 and CoinJar UK Limited, CRN 08905988 of Level 39, One Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5AB (Promoter), trading as CoinJar.
3. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the Terms of Conditions. Entry into competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Who can enter
4. Entry is only open to Australian residents.
5. Entrants must be over 18 year of age or older as at the date of entry.
When to enter
6. The Promotion commences at 12am on 1 July 2021 and closes at 11:59PM on 30 September 2021 (Promotion Period). Entries must be received by the Promoter prior to the close date and time.
7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

8. To be eligible, you must meet at least one 'Entry Point' noted below. Depending on your action taken, you may be eligible for more than 1 Entry Point. The more Entry Points you gain, the greater your chance of winning. Ways to enter:

9. Any account or entry that is created/made on behalf of an entrant by a third party will be invalid.

Draw and Prizes
11. The winner/s will be determined by randomized electronic draw through gleam.IO (which uses Random.org – a certified random number generator approved for use in random draws).
The draw will take place at 34/360 Elizabeth St, Melbourne, Vic, 3000 a week after the promotion finishes on 30 September 2021.
12. The winner will receive AUD $1,000 worth of Bitcoin, which will be distributed into their ID verified CoinJar account.
13. $1000 worth of Bitcoin equivalent will be calculated at an exchange rate calculated at a date of bitcoin distribution to the winner.
14. After the distribution is completed, the balance will appear in the user’s ID-verified CoinJar account.
15. Winners of this competition will be notified via email to their nominated email address by 7 October 2021.

Further Terms and Conditions
17. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promotor.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that the winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
19. If the Promoter has received no response to the email sent in accordance with clause 15 above to a potential winner within 30 days of sending it, the Promoter reserves its right to select a new winner.
20. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw in the event that an entrant, claiming to be a winner, is unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions or has breached these Terms and Conditions.
21. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter.
22. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services offered as part of the Promotion. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss (including indirect and consequential loss) suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission (including deliberate or negligent acts or omissions) by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods or services by any person to the winner. This clause does not affect any rights a consumer may have which are unable to be excluded under relevant laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its employees or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.
23. Subject to complying with all relevant State and Territory legislation, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this Promotion if an event beyond the control of the Promoter corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion.
24. The Promoter and their associated companies or agencies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.

27. Your privacy is important to us. Your information is collected by the Promoter and will be used and held in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information you provide will be used for the purpose of conducting this Promotion, sending you our newsletter, keeping in touch with you about news and information. Promoter may disclose your information to companies and agencies in connection with this Promotion or as set out in the Privacy Policy.
