What are the prizes for the Flybuys Velocity Competition?
The Flybuys Velocity Competition offers 100 prizes, each consisting of 100,000 Flybuys points valued at up to $500 and 100,000 Velocity Points valued at approximately $2,116.32. The total prize pool is valued at up to $261,632 (including GST). Prizes are awarded over 10 weeks, with 10 winners announced weekly.
When does the competition close?
The competition closes at 11:59 PM AEDT on Tuesday, 10 November 2026. All entries must be received by this time to be eligible for the prize draws.
How do I enter the competition?
To enter the competition, participants must link their Flybuys and Velocity accounts for the first time to receive one entry. Additionally, transferring 1,000 Flybuys points to Velocity Points manually or via Auto Transfer earns 10 entries per transfer. All accounts must remain linked until the draw date.
Who is eligible to enter the Flybuys Velocity Competition?
The Flybuys Velocity Competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who are valid members of both Flybuys and Velocity Frequent Flyer programs. Employees and immediate family members of the promoter and associated agencies are ineligible.
How is the winner selected?
Winners are selected through a random draw conducted weekly during the competition period. Each draw occurs at Focal Promotions in Beaumaris, VIC, with 10 winners chosen from valid entries received each week.
How will the winner be notified?
Winners will be notified via email by Flybuys within seven days of each draw date. Their first name initial, last name, and postcode will be published on the Flybuys website for a period of 28 days.
What happens if the prize is unclaimed?
If a prize is unclaimed, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted at specified dates and times after the original draw. Winners from these draws will be notified in writing within seven days and their details published on the Flybuys website.
