Who can enter the competition?
The competition is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years of age or older, where the Channel Seven (and affiliates) signal is received. However, employees and their immediate friends and families of the Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Ansible Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
When can they enter?
The competition commences on Wednesday 26 July 2023 at 12:00pm AEST and concludes on Tuesday 15 August 2023 at 12:00pm AEST.
How can they enter?
To enter the competition, viewers must visit the Sunrise website and register all required fields including a Nominee's name on the Competition page, and tell why their Nominee deserves to be rewarded with $10,000 and awarded the Sunrise Suburban Superstar. The Nominee must be someone that the entrant knows personally who has made a significant contribution to that community. Entrants cannot nominate themselves; the entrant and the Nominee must be different people.
What is the prize they can win?
There will be one Prize Winner, whose Nominee will receive the prize. The prize is one amount of $10,000.00 AUD awarded via EFT.
What is the total worth of the prize?
The total worth of the prize is $10,000.00 AUD.
Who will receive the prize?
The Winner's Nominee will receive the prize, not the Winner themselves.
How is the winner chosen?
This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the Winner. The Winner will be the entrant who, in the sole opinion of the judges, has been identified as the worthiest and most deserving to receive the awarded prize. The Winner will be judged from the pool of online entrants on Tuesday, 15th August 2023 at 12:30pm AEST.
What happens if the winner doesn't claim the prize?
If the winner doesn't claim the prize on or before Monday 2nd October 2023, the Promoter reserves the right to re-judge and select an alternative winner. The alternative winner, if any, will be notified by email and phone on the day of the re-judging.
