WHO CAN ENTER?

To be eligible to enter you must:
Reside in Australia and hold Australian citizenship or an Australian permanent residency visa; and
Be over 18 years of age
Employees of MG Motor Australia (or its related bodies corporate), the NBL (or its related bodies corporate), their immediate families and any agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter and are described in further detail below.
Employees of MG Motor Australia and its related bodies corporate (as that term is defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)) (“Related Body Corporate”) or immediate family, which means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister or first cousin, are ineligible to enter.
HOW TO ENTER
The competition period commences at 9:00am AEDT on 14 December 2021 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 16 January 2022 (“Competition Period”).
To enter the promotion, you must submit an online entry by providing your full name, mobile number, email address, postcode, the name of the NBL team you support, and accept the Terms and Conditions on the competition landing page at https://mg.partnership-hub.com/watch-your-team-with-your-team (“Competition Landing Page”) during the Competition Period.
The promotion will be advertised on MG Motor Australia Facebook page, MG Motor Australia Instagram, National Basketball League (“NBL”) website and social channels, and will include a link or instructions to the Competition Landing Page.
No entries received outside of the Competition Period will be accepted.
Subject to the possibility of receiving additional entries in accordance with the below, a limit of one (1) entry to the competition per person applies. Multiple entries are not permitted. The use of automatic entry software, mechanical or electronic devices that allows an individual to automatically enter the Promotion is prohibited and may render all entries submitted by that individual invalid.
POST-ENTRY SURVEY
At the time of entering into the promotion, the entrant may choose to complete a survey for ten (10) bonus entries. Following successful completion of the survey, the entrant will be eligible for eleven (11) entries into the promotion.
SELECTION OF WINNERS
1 (one) major winner will be chosen by random draw which will take place from:
10:00 AM AEDT on 18 January 2022
at Greenroom Digital, 343 Ferrars Street, South Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 3205. Eligible persons are not required to be present at the draw to win.
The winner will be notified by email and/or telephone within 2 business days of the draw via the contact details supplied when entering the promotion.
The results of the draw will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw.
The winner will be published on the website: https://www.mgmotor.com.au/ from 20 January 2022.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from prize winnings. All taxes which may be payable as a consequence of receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any additional costs involved are at the winner’s expense. Independent financial advice should be sought.
If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter, after having made reasonable attempts to reach agreement with the winner, but otherwise in its discretion, reserve the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal or greater value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Any costs associated with redeeming any the prize are not included.
UNCLAIMED PRIZE DRAW
If the winner does not comply with the Terms and Conditions, or cannot be contacted or does not respond within 4 weeks of being notified by MG Motor Australia that they have won the competition, the winner is not readily identified and reasonable efforts made by MG Motor Australia to identify the winner were unsuccessful, they will automatically forfeit their prize and MG Motor Australia reserves the right to select another winner through a second chance draw.
As the prize is for an event, if necessary, an unclaimed prize draw will be held on 15 February 2022, at the same time and place as the first draw. The first valid entry or entries drawn will win any unclaimed prizes.The unclaimed prize draw winner or winners will be notified by email and/or telephone on the day of the draw.
The results of any unclaimed prize draw will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw.
The winner will be notified by email and/or telephone within 2 business days of the draw via the contact details supplied when entering the promotion and published on the website https://www.mgmotor.com.au/ 17 February 2022.
PROMOTION AND MARKETING
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, MG Motor Australia (including their respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
By entering the promotion, the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as MG Motor Australia or the NBL may require without remuneration.
Except or any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, MG Motor Australia (including their respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under MG Motor Australia’s control);
any theft, unauthorised access or third-party interference;
any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by MG Motor Australia) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of MG Motor Australia;
any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or
taking of the prize/attendance at the prize event.
MG Motor Australia collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to the NBL (https://nbl.com.au/pages/privacy-policy) and other third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. MG Motor Australia will also use, and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy available at https://mgmotor.com.au/privacy/.
In addition to any use that may be outlined in the privacy policies identified above, MG Motor Australia and the NBL may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The privacy policies also contain information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of MG Motor Australia and the NBL. MG Motor Australia and the NBL may disclose Australian entrants’ PI to any entity outside of Australia in accordance with their respective privacy policy.
PRIZE
one (1) prize of fifteen (15) GA tickets to a 2021/22 NBL regular season game valued at AUD $750. The prize does not include travel, food, beverages, or any other associated costs with redeeming the prize. The NBL reserves the right to nominate the regular season game (in its sole discretion) however it will use best endeavours to accommodate a game of the winner’s choosing. Prizes to attend a game are subject to ticket availability and the NBL, in its sole discretion, may select the game to which the prize relates.
Should the 2021/22 season not proceed, or the 2021/22 season is truncated, the NBL may, in their sole discretion, award the fifteen (15) GA tickets for the 2022/23 season.

Total prize pool at AUD $800 incl GST at the publishing date of these Terms and Conditions.
No part of a prize is exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other prize.

STANDARD TERMS
Please read these competition Terms and Conditions carefully.If you enter the competition, we will assume that you have read these Terms and Conditions and that you agree to them.
MG Motor Australia reserves the right to amend the competition and its Terms and Conditions at any time and for any reason, subject to regulatory approval (if required) and will notify entrants of any such amendments as soon as reasonably practicable on the Competition Landing Page at MG Motor Australia. It is the entrant's responsibility to regularly check the Competition Landing Page for any amendments. Any amendments will be applied and interpreted at the sole discretion of MG Motor Australia.
If the competition is not capable of running as planned to include by reason of technical failure, fraud or any cause beyond MG Motor Australia’s ‘control, MG Motor Australia may cancel or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected entries, to the extent permitted by law.
MG Motor Australia does not accept responsibility for any entries that are delayed or which are not received for any reason during the competition period.
To the extent permitted by law, MG Motor Australia or the NBL shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the conduct of the competition or the redemption or use of the prize (including but not limited to direct loss) including:
technical or telecommunications problems (such as security breaches, technical website malfunctions or glitches); or
acts or omissions (including negligent acts of omissions) of MG Motor Australia’s servants or agents involved in the conduct of this competition who are acting outside their authority as agent of MG Motor Australia.
MG Motor Australia and entrants acknowledge that this competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
MG Motor Australia is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings, including fringe benefits tax. Independent financial advice should be sought.
The laws of Victoria apply to this competition. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Melbourne, Victoria.
