Who can enter the competition?
The competition is open to Queensland residents who are 18 years or older as of 15 September 2024. Proof of identity, age, and residence will be required to claim a prize.
When does the competition close?
The competition closes at 5pm on 30 September 2024. It began on 15 September 2024 at 9am.
How can I enter the competition?
To enter, eligible participants must vote in the RACQ People’s Choice Awards for Best Tourism Experience or Service and Best Accommodation. You need to provide your name, telephone contact number, and email address when voting at [racq.com/peopleschoice](https://racq.com/peopleschoice). Only one entry per person is permitted.
What are the prizes and prize pool value?
There will be one (1) winner and three (3) runners-up. The winner will receive $1,000 in RACQ Travel credit (inclusive of GST). Each of the three runners-up will receive $500 in RACQ Travel credit (inclusive of GST). The total prize pool is valued at $2,500 (inclusive of GST).
When will the winners be drawn and how will they be notified?
The prize draw will take place at 10am on 15 October 2024 at 2649 Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains QLD 4113. Winners will be chosen at random, with the first prize winner drawn first, followed by the runners-up. Winners will be notified by telephone using the contact details provided when entering. The prizes will be emailed to the winners at the email address provided.
What happens if a winner cannot be contacted?
If the winner or any of the runners-up cannot be contacted or are deemed ineligible within two weeks of the draw, a redraw will take place at 10am on 29 October 2024, and the new winners will be contacted by telephone.
Is the prize transferable or redeemable for cash?
No, the prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. However, if the prize is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal value.
What is the total prize pool amount?
The total prize pool is valued at $2,500, including GST.
