Win $2,000 Quote Competition Terms and Conditions
1. The total prize pool is $2,000. This consists of one prize of $2,000 payable to the prize winner, by electronic funds transfer to the nominated bank account details of the winner. 2. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. 3. The promoter is Australian Unity Health Limited ABN 13 078 722 568 (“Promoter”). Authorized under ACT License No. 16/00288, NSW License No. LTPS/16/01078. 4. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, 114 Albert Road, South Melbourne, VIC, 3205, and any of its related bodies corporate are ineligible to enter the ‘Win $2000 Quote Competition’ (“Quote Competition”). 5. The Quote Competition runs from 12.01am, 15/10/2018 to 11.59pm 30/11/2018 in all States (“Competition Period”). 6. To be eligible for the prize draw, entrants must be over 18 years of age. 7. To be entered into the random prize draw a person must, during the Competition Period, receive a quote for private health insurance either by: a) calling the Promoter on 1300 698 734, providing their name and contact details, and have the quote emailed or saved by Australian Unity – this entitles this person to one entry into the prize draw; or b) using the ‘email quote’ functionality after completing a quote via www.australianunity.com.au/health-insurance/(“Website”) and providing their contact details – this entitles this person to one entry into the prize draw. 8. One entry per person. 9. For the avoidance of doubt, members who any purchase hospital and extras cover with the Promoter (excluding OVC) during the Competition Period directly through the Promoter’s website are deemed to have satisfied condition 7 above and will be entered into the Quote Competition. 10. There is no fee for entry. 11. For the avoidance of doubt, this promotion is not available: a) if the Promoter’s website malfunctions; or b) to existing Australian Unity members (including members who backdate their cover in the 12 months prior to the draw date); and c) for quotesand purchase of Overseas Visitor Cover. 12. The random prize draw will be held at 2.00pm on 07/12/2018 at Australian Unity 114 Albert Road, South Melbourne VIC, 3205. 13. The prize-winner will be notified by phone or email. 14. The prize is not transferable or refundable. 15. The Promoter may require the winner to provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion. 16. The Promoter’s decisions in relation to all aspects of this promotion are final, and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence. 17. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained by any entrant/winner as a result of participating in this promotion, or accepting any prize. 18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning the prize. Independent financial advice should be sought. 19. All entries will be the property of the Promoter. The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this competition and communicating with entrants as to future offers, information and/or marketing promotions. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this Promotion or communicating with entrants.
