9. Entry Method Website Entry
Clause 3 During the Promotion Period:
a) Entrants must visit the Website, complete the entry form in the manner required and upload a
maximum 60 second video of the entrant completing a comedic performance (for example,
the performance could be a stand-up, a song or a visual performance). Acceptable video
formats are; .mp4, .mov and .avi. Video files submitted for this competition cannot exceed
the 10mb. Any file sizes bigger than the above specifications will be deemed invalid. Links to
relevant websites are also accepted when applicable.
b) Each valid entry submitted during the Promotion Period will be individually reviewed by
representatives of the Promoter. At the discretion of the Promoter, the Promoter may call
entrant/s during the judging process to discuss the entrant’s entry. For the avoidance of
doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not mean that
the entrant is deemed a Finalist or a winner.
Minor Prize
Between 9:00am AEST Monday 24 September 2018 and 5:00pm AEST Friday 5 October 2018:
Representatives of the Promoter, Liberty Financial Pty Ltd, Joel Creasey and Melbourne International
Comedy Festival (together, the Judges) will determine the five (5) entries deemed to be the “best”
(based on the Judging Criteria in the Judge’s sole and absolute discretion) from all entries received
within the time period specified and award each of those entrants a Minor Prize, and deem each of
those entrants a finalist (each, a Finalist).
Voting Period
Between 6:00am AEDT Monday 8 October 2018 and 11:59pm AEDT Sunday 28 October 2018, the
entries submitted by each of the five (5) Finalists will be featured on the Website.
During this time, members of the public (Voters) will be invited to:
a) Visit the Website, complete the voting form in the manner required and ‘vote’ for their
favourite Finalist; and
b) Answer in 25 words or less the question: “Why do you like this comedic act the most?”.
All valid answers received from Voters will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Promoter
based on the Judging Criteria.
Voter’s Prize
Between 9:00am AEDT Monday 29 October 2018 and 5:00pm AEDT Monday 5 November 2018, the one
(1) Voter deemed to have submitted the “best” answer (based on the Judging Criteria in the
Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion), together with their vote, will be awarded the Voter’s Prize.
Major Prize
Between 9:00am AEDT Monday 29 October 2018 and 5:00pm AEDT Monday 5 November 2018:
The Judges will select the one (1) Finalist deemed to be the “best” (based on the Judging Criteria in
the Judge’s sole and absolute discretion) and will award that Finalist the Major Prize.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Major Prize winner will not necessarily be the Finalist who received the
most votes from members of the public during the Voting Period, but rather, will be determined by the
Judges in their sole and absolute direction (based on the Judging Criteria).
10. Entry Restrictions Any content which entrants submit as part of this promotion must be original, accurate, unaltered and
the entrant’s own work. Any entry submitted that does not meet this requirement (as determined by
the Promoter in their sole and absolute discretion) may be deemed invalid.
The decision by the Promoter to accept or reject an entry is in the Promoter’s sole and absolute
discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entrants must be able to take the Major Prize between Monday 12 November 2018 and Friday 16
November 2018. Final prize fulfilment date to be at the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter.

Major Prize:
There is one (1) Major Prize to be won, consisting of:
• If the winner’s ordinary state of residence is QLD, WA, SA or NSW, the winner will receive return
flights to and accommodation in Melbourne, VIC, up to a maximum value of $3,000 (for the
avoidance of doubt, if the winner’s ordinary state of residence is VIC, the winner will not
receive this portion of the Major Prize);
• $20,000 to be transferred to the winner’s nominated Australian bank account;
• Half day mentoring session with Joel Creasey;
• Half day coaching session with Nova Entertainment’s Creative and Programming team.
The mentoring and coaching sessions will take place at the Promoter’s Melbourne office (Level 2, 678
Victoria Street, Richmond VIC 3121) at a date and time to be advised by the Promoter (in the
Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion and subject to availability).
The Major Prize is valued up to $23,000.
The Major Prize winner may (in the Promoter’s, Liberty Financial Pty Ltd’s and Melbourne International
Comedy Festival’s sole and absolute discretion) also be eligible to receive the opportunity to:
• be involved in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival;
• become the ‘voice’ of Liberty Financial Pty Ltd for one (1) year;
• record voiced commercials with Joel Creasey that may (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute
discretion) be aired on the Station (however the Promoter is under no obligation to record
any voiced commercials involving the winner or put any voiced commercials involving the
winner to air),

these Terms of Entry, the Schedule prevails. For the avoidance
of doubt, the Promoter’s General Terms of Entry (available on

2 Eligible Entrants
(a) Eligible States and Territories. Entry is open only to residents of
the Eligible States and Territories specified in the Schedule
(refer to checked boxes) who comply with the Age
Restriction.
(b) Associated persons and entities. Directors, officers,
management, employees and other staff (and the immediate
families of directors, officers, management, employees and
other staff) of the Promoter or of its related bodies corporate,
or of the agencies or companies associated with this
Promotion or of any Australian commercial radio broadcaster
are ineligible to enter.
(c) Using different identities. Any person who is discovered to
have used or attempted to use any more than one name in
order to enter any Promotion run by the Promoter except in
the case of a legal change of name in this Promotion is
ineligible to enter this Promotion.
(d) Previous Winnings. A person is ineligible to enter this Promotion
if that person or anyone from the same family or household
has won prizes to the value of $500 or more in any
promotion(s) run by the Promoter or any radio station owned
or controlled by Nova Entertainment Pty Ltd in the thirty (30)
days prior to the commencement of the Promotion Period.
(e) Correct Information. Entrants must only register in their own
name. Any entries of an entrant who is deemed by the
Promoter to have provided incorrect, misleading or fraudulent
information may, at the sole discretion of the Promoter, be
deemed invalid.
(f) Proof. The Promoter may require entrants to promptly provide
identification including (without limitation) proof of identity,
