The Buderim Prize Home competition offers a first prize valued at $2,880,000, which includes a $2,650,000 home, $130,445 in furniture and electrical items, $20,000 in gold bullion, 12 months of council rates and water valued at $6,589, home and contents insurance worth $5,000, improvements costing $55,246, window dressings valued at $11,960, and transfer fees of $760. Who is eligible to enter the Buderim Prize Home competition?
The Buderim Prize Home competition is open to all Australian residents aged 18 and over. Members of yourtown's Board of Directors, Executive Management, draw process staff, IT staff, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Overseas non-Australian citizens or residents must ensure there are no restrictions in their country regarding ticket purchases.
How is the winner selected?
The winner of the competition is selected through a barrel draw for the first prize and random generator draws for member and bonus prizes. The draw is conducted at Suite 5 Cordova Street, Milton QLD 4064 on Friday, 20 November 2026.
How will the winner be notified?
Winners will be notified by phone and in writing via email and registered mail on the day of the draw. Results will also be published on the yourtown website.
What happens if the prize is unclaimed?
If a prize remains unclaimed in ACT or NSW within three months of the draw date, a redraw will occur on Tuesday, 23 February 2027. For other states, if the first prize remains unclaimed for one year following Draw 561, a redraw will be conducted on Tuesday, 23 November 2027.
