WHO CAN ENTER?
Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 16 years or older who hold an active ‘Facebook’ account (“Facebook”). Any person who enters the Competition who is under the age of 18 years old must have the consent of a parent or guardian to enter into the Competition and must provide signed consent from a parent or guardian upon request by the Promoter. Employees (and their Immediate Family Members) of the Promoter or of any agency associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter. “Immediate Family Members” means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto, ex-de-facto, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin. A person who meets the entry criteria described in this clause is known as an Entrant (“Entrant”). PROMOTIONAL PERIOD: Promotional Period Start: 10:00am AEDST on 17 October 2014 Promotional Period End: 11:59pm AEDST on 30 October 2014 Prize Winner selected: 11:00am AEDST on 31 October 2014 Prize Winner announced on carsales.com.au Facebook page: 11:00am AEDST on 3 November 2014 HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Competition, during the Promotional Period an Entrant must: Step 1: Take a photo of themself (i.e. a ‘selfie’) using a smartphone or other camera enabled device Step 2: Open the Facebook application using a smartphone or other mobile device or otherwise access Facebook via a browser, visit the carsales.com.au Facebook page (www.facebook.com/carsales.com.au) and upload their selfie as either a post to the carsales.com.au Facebook page or as a comment under a relevant competition post by carsales.com.au on the carsales.com.au Facebook page. Step 3: Caption their photo post/comment with their favourite road trip song and the hashtag #selfieandasong Step 4: Post the photo Photographs must meet the conditions set out in section 5 below. An entry will only be considered valid once all the above conditions and those set out in section 5 below have been satisfied and complied with by the Entrant. PRIZE: The Prize Winner’s prize are as follows: $5,000 cash in the form of a pre-paid VISA card an iPhone 6 (valued at $869 AUD) The total prize value is $5,869 AUD. The cash prize will be presented in the form of a pre-paid Visa card to the amount of $5,000 AUD. The gift card is subject to its own set of terms and conditions regarding its use. In addition, the Prize Winner will get to experience having their face shown on TV in the form of the Promoter displaying the Prize Winner’s winning selfie on Channel V (no retail value, money cannot buy). The Prize Winner will be notified in accordance with the verification process set out in section C(4) above. In addition to the publication as set out in section B(3) above, the details of the Prize Winner will be published on the Promoter’s Facebook page on 3 November 2014.
