Switzer Terms & Conditions
Win a $10,000 share portfolio competition:
1. To enter the entrant must subscribe to the Switzer Daily newsletter at http://www.switzer.com.au/competition by midnight on 30 November 2017.
2. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and older.
3. Entrants will be ineligible if they have ‘unsubscribed’ from the newsletter at the time of the prize draw.
4. Employees of Switzer Financial Group Pty Limited, Contractors, related agencies or members of immediate family (“Immediate family” means spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, siblings (whether natural or adopted by a parent) are ineligible to enter this competition.
5. Any costs associated with entering remain the responsibility of each entrant and are dependent on the internet service provider used.
6. The competition commences 10:00am (AEDT) Monday 23th October 2017 and closes on Midnight AEDT on Thursday 30 November 2017. Entries will be deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission by the entrant.
7. The prize is an investment in the Switzer Dividend Growth Fund to the value of $10,000. The total value of the prize pool is $10,000. The prize pool is capped at $10,000.
8. The prize is not transferable and cannot be taken as cash.
9. To claim the prize, the winner will need a stock broking account. If the winner doesn’t have a stock broking account, Switzer will assist the winner in setting up an account with a free online broker. The prize cannot be claimed without a stock broking account.
10. The winner will be notified by phone and email by 4pm AEDT on Friday, 1 December 2017.
11. The prize draw will take place at Level 4, 10 Spring Street Sydney NSW 2000 at 4:00PM AEDT on Friday 1 December 2017.
12. The winner's name will be published in the Switzer Daily newsletter on Tuesday, 5 December.
13. Winners will be decided by a weighted draw. Each entrant will have a certain number of entries into the draw, depending on how many friends the entrant referred. Points are awarded as follows:
a. 1 point for signing up directly at www.switzer.com.au/competition
b. 2 points for signing up via a friends unique referral link
c. 10 points for each friend that signs up via the entrants unique referral link
14. Whilst best efforts will be made to contact the winners, in the event that for any reason the winners cannot be notified after reasonable attempts, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner. If the prize is unclaimed after two months, it will be redrawn on Thursday the 1st of February at the same time and place as the original draw and the winner notified by phone and email.
15. By entering and participating, the entrant agrees to hold harmless, defend and indemnify Facebook from and against any and all claims, demands, liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), losses, costs or expenses, with respect to or arising out of or related to (i) entrant’s participation in the Sweepstake, or (ii) entrant’s participation in any Prize related activities, acceptance of a Prize and/or use or misuse of a Prize (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s).
