Who can enter the competition?

The competition is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older. Employees of Nationwide News Pty Ltd, associated companies, agencies, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

The competition closes at 11:59 AM AEDT on December 5, 2024.

How can one enter the competition?

To enter, participants must visit the "Win It" page on taste.com.au, fill out the entry form, and answer the question, “What’s a pantry staple you couldn’t live without?” in 25 words or less. Entries are judged on creativity, and only one entry per person is allowed.

What are the prizes and their details?

The prize is a 2025 Product of the Year hamper, valued at $100. This hamper features a selection of over 30 award-winning products from the prestigious Product of the Year awards. These products represent the best in supermarket and everyday items, voted by over 5,000 Australian shoppers. The hamper includes items from well-known brands like Coles, Woolworths, Kmart, and Nestlé, offering a variety of household essentials and favorites.

What is the total prize pool amount?

The total prize pool is valued at $100.

When will the winner be announced and how will the prize be delivered?

The winner will be selected based on the most creative entry at 2:00 PM AEDT on December 12, 2024, at 2 Holt Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2010. If the prize is unclaimed by the initial winner, a second-round winner will be chosen at 9:00 AM AEDT on December 18, 2024. The winner will be notified via phone or email and will receive the prize within one month of the competition’s conclusion.

Are there any additional terms or conditions?

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If the advertised prize is unavailable, a substitute of equal or greater value may be provided. Incomplete or invalid entries will not be considered. This competition is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winner. The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
