Win a 3 Night Trip for 2 to 2022 Adelaide Supercar Event - 1. Instructions, prizes and information on how to enter this “Promotion” form part of these
“Conditions of Entry”. By entering this Promotion, entrants accept these Conditions of Entry.
2. The “Promoter” is Century Yuasa Batteries Pty Ltd ABN 66 009 685 232 of 37-65 Cobalt Street,
Carole Park, QLD, 4300.
3. The “Promotional Period” begins at 9:00am AEST on Monday 5th September 2022 and ends
at 4:59pm AEST on Friday 23rd September 2022.
4. To enter this “Promotion”, an “Eligible Entrant” must comply with the following
“Conditions”:
a. during the Promotional Period, submit all listed details and respond to the prompt
on the “Promotional Website” (https://www.centurybatteries.com.au/adelaide),
after which it shall become an “Eligible Entry”;
b. be an Australian resident; and
c. be a minimum of 18 years of age.
5. By doing so, Eligible Entrants agree to these Conditions of Entry for this Promotion. Entrants
may only enter this Promotion once per Facebook account held. The Promoter reserves the
right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s
identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that
is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the entry process.
Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter
to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
6. Incomplete or indecipherable entries, entries which are not original or breach any third-party
intellectual property, entries which are obscene, defamatory, or otherwise does not meet
community or safety standards will be deemed invalid.
7. This Promotion is a game of skill: chance plays no part.
8. There will be 1 “Winner” of this Promotion, with the Winner to be drawn randomly at
9.00am AEST on Monday 26th September 2022 at “RBE”, 33 Oxford Street, Nundah QLD 4012
from all Eligible Entries lodged during the Promotional Period.
9. The “Prize” for the Winner is a trip for 2 people to the Adelaide Supercars event being held
from Thursday 1st December to Sunday 4th December 2022 (“Event”) with the following
inclusions:
a. return economy domestic airfares from the Winner’s home city airport to Adelaide,
departing Friday 2nd December 2022 and returning Monday 5th December 2022. If
the Winner lives within 200km of Adelaide, then they may receive a car transfer
instead of flights;
b. 3 nights’ twin-share accommodation 3.5 star or better in Adelaide, checking-in on
Friday 2nd December 2022 and checking-out Monday 5th December 2022;
c. corporate hospitality at the Event on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December 2022;
d. a Supercars “Grid Walk” at the Event;
e. a Supercars “Course Car Ride “at the Event;
f. a ”Behind the Scenes Tour” with a Supercars representative at the Event; and
g. a “VIP Experience”, including a behind the scenes tour of the “Team 18” pit garage
and signed Team 18 merchandise.
10. The Prize pool value is up to AUD$4,600 including GST, depending on the location and timing
of the domestic flights. The Prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied or offered in
cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the
Prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. The Promoter accepts no
responsibility for any variation in the Prize value.
11. The Winner will be notified by telephone and/or email within 7 business days of the prize
draw. If the Winner does not respond to the Promoter’s notification on their relevant account
within 5 days, the Prize will be voided. The Promoter takes no responsibility for a Winner/s
who does not respond during the designated time frame and consequently forfeits the Prize
and their entry will be deemed invalid.
12. The Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by the Winner
or any other party if the Prize (or any part of the Prize) is unavailable for any reason.
13. Unless expressly stated in these Conditions of Entry, all other expenses including travel to
and from the departure point are the responsibility of the Winner.
14. By accepting this Prize, the Winner accepts that they will keep their winning of the
Promotion confidential until such time as the Promoter confirms to them in writing that they
can talk publicly about it.
15. If the Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute
the Prize for another prize of equal or greater value, subject to any applicable regulations.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow the Winner to take part in any or all
aspects of the Prize, if the Promoter determines, in its absolute discretion, that the Winner is
not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the Prize.
16. It is a condition of accepting the Prize, that the Winner will be required to sign a legal release
in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. In the event that for any
reason whatsoever a Winner does not take an element of the Prize at the time stipulated by
the Promoter, then that element of the Prize will be forfeited and cash will not be awarded
in lieu of that element of the Prize.
17. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and third parties associated with
this Promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse,
ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, step-sister or first cousin.
18. By accepting the Prize, the Winner agree to participate in and cooperate as required with all
reasonable media editorial requests from the Promoter relating to the Prize, including but
not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned throughout
the duration of the Prize. It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner must
comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize and the Prize supplier’s requirements,
indemnities, waivers and similar documents.
19. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or
significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with this Promotion and Prize on the
dates and in the manner described in these Conditions of Entry, including but not limited to
vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war,
act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel this Promotion.
20. In the case that the Covid-19 virus or any other viral outbreak causes the Event to be
cancelled, the Promoter will provide each of the Winner with an alternative prize of
commensurate value or a similar prize, at the discretion of the Promoter.
21. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered
(including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury
suffered or sustained in connection with the Prize except for any liability which cannot be
excluded by law. The Promoter needs to collect personal information about the Winner, and
may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to
agents, contractors, service providers, gift suppliers and regulatory authorities.
22. Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image, voice and/or
social media post content in the event they are selected as a Winner (including photograph,
film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration
for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any
products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
23. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with
Facebook.
24. Entries must not include any swearing, derogatory or racist commentary, inflammatory
commentary, imagery or commentary displaying alcohol abuse, imagery including nudity
and/or unauthorised commercial communications such as spam and any such posts or
comments will be removed by the Promoter.
25. Participation in this Promotion is conditional on providing this information. If the Winner opt
in at time of winning, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised,
use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes,
including sending electronic messages or telephoning the winner. All personal details of the
Winner will be stored in accordance with the “Promoter’s Privacy Policy” found online at
https://www.centurybatteries.com.au/privacy-policy-(1). Upon the Winner’s request,
information provided will be removed from the Promoter’s active marketing database. To
