How to Enter
1. Entry is only available to residents of Australia. Employees, officers and contractors (and their immediate families) of members of the Pilbara Tourism Association (PTA) or of the agencies or companies associated with this promotion are ineligible. Entrants must complete the online entry form and fill in all required fields.
2. The promotion ends midnight Thursday 27th May 2021.
3. Winners will be drawn and notified Friday 28th May 2021.
The Epic Pilbara Adventure Prize (The prize)
The prize is a 12 day self-drive Pilbara 4WD adventure which is redeemable subject to availability at the time of booking notification
Terms and Conditions
1. The total retail prize value is calculated to be in excess of $10,000 (AUD).
2. The prize is available for use only by Australian residents and is not open for entry by residents of South Australia and the ACT.
3. The prize is not exchangeable for cash or other forms of credit and no refunds will be issued for the value of the voucher if travel plans are cancelled or altered. All costs above the value of the voucher including any change or cancellation fees are the responsibility of the prize winner
4. Notification and claiming the prize. Following the prize draw, the winner will be notified using the contact details provided. The winner has 7 days from the time and date of the notification being sent to respond and claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed by the winning entrant within this time frame, the prize will be redrawn and any previous winners will forgo all claims to the prize.
5. The prize is valid for redemption until 30/06/22 and must be redeemed by the expiry date, with travel valid until 31/10/22.
6. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking and at the hotels’ and tour operators’ discretion. All applicable booking terms and conditions of the accommodation and tour supplier apply.
7. This prize will be deemed fully used once a booking has been made and confirmed to be available. The prize will not be reinstated, refunded or replaced, even in the event that the reservation is cancelled or changed
8. Changes or cancellation may incur charges from Airlines, Hotels or other Suppliers. The customer is responsible to pay any such charges.
9. There is no residual value and no credit will be issued if the prize amount redeemed is less than the advertised value.
10. To redeem the prize, email the PTA and advise them in the email of the date you wish to begin your journey and they will advise availability.
11. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, replaceable or refundable for cash or credit and can only be used as specified.
12. All taxes, fees, charges and surcharges applicable to the booking, including, without limitation, extra person, phone, parking and other charges are your responsibility. These charges must be paid at the time the reservation is confirmed or to the hotel property directly and are the responsibility solely of the prize winner.
13. Terms and conditions of this prize are as written and cannot be changed by any representation of any unauthorized person, except the Board of the PTA.
14. The prize is void where prohibited or restricted by law or border closure.

16. The PTA reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without notice and at any stage during the promotion.
17. Prize winner will agree to write and submit a daily blog and instagram photos that Pilbara Tourism Association (PTA) can upload to social media to detail their journey as they travel
18. Changes to the prize itinerary may be necessary to fit in with operators’ availability at the time of booking
Prize winners are responsible for their own fuel, alcoholic drinks and all expenses over and above that explicitly detailed in the itinerary
All prize components are subject to availability at the time of booking
The Prize winners will organise their own travel insurance. The Pilbara Tourism Association and its corporate sponsors and partners take no responsibility or liability for any accident or injury that may occur during the delivery of the Epic Pilbara Adventure
The hire vehicle will be paid for by PTA and have excess waiver insurance for the itinerary as described. The prize winners agree to be responsible for any additional expenses incurred (such as fines or wilful damage) as a result of their hire
All entries made by Internet Web Robots will be disallowed
The return flights included in the competition are from Perth to Karratha and an Interstate winner would need to make their own arrangements to fly to and from Perth.
General Terms and Conditions
1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”) and New Zealand. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, The Pilbara Tourism Association Inc (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
2. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, Pilbara Tourism Association Inc (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under PTA’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by PTA) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of PTA; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
3. The PTA collects claimants’/entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion and notify the outcome. If the information requested is not provided, the claimant/entrant may not be able to participate in the promotion. The PTA will not disclose this information to anyone other than contractors who provide services to the PTA for the purposes of conducting this promotion unless compelled or permitted by law. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. As per the relevant Privacy Legislation, a request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the PTA.
