Condition of Entry
- By entering this PROMOTION, Entrants agree to abide by these Conditions of Entry.
- The Promoter is BLC International Pty Ltd ABN 45 116 799 181 trading as Australian School and Club Fundraising Specialists
- The Promotion commences at 12.01am AST on Monday 23 January, 2017 and closes at 11.59pm AST on Friday 16 December, 2017
- Entry is open to all Australian residents aged 13 years or older. Entrants under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian consent to enter. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, related companies of the Promoter and agencies directly associated with the Promoter and their related companies are ineligible to enter.
- To enter the Promotion, Entrants must, during the Promotion Period, either purchase or sell one tub of cookie or biscuit dough in the Billy G’s Gourmet Cookie and Biscuit Dough Fundraiser, or raise $10 or more in the School Run 4 Fun Fundraiser, School Colour Fun Run, School Spell-a-thon/Read-a-thon or Obstacle-a-thon, purchase or sell a raffle book in the Raffle Fundraiser, or sell a carry pack of chocolates in the Crest Chocolates fundraiser, or purchase or sell a full sheet of the Scratch & Support card.
- In 25 words or less, tell us why fundraising is so important to your organisation. Entries must be received during the Promotion Period (Entry).
- Entries received by the Promoter will be considered final by the Promoter. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay in, failure of, transmission which causes an Entry not to be received within the Promotion Period.
- The winner will receive a $5,000 Cruiseabout Gift Card which can be used towards accommodation, airfares or a cruise of your choice. It is valid for use for up to 24 months from the issue date. It cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash and must be taken intact.
- There will be one (1) Prize determined based on the most creative answer. The most creative answer will be chosen at 11.00am AST on Wednesday 20 December, 2017 at the office of BLC International Pty Ltd, 1A/43 Spine Street, Sumner Park QLD.
- The winner will be notified by phone within two (2) days of the Prize Draw and sent written confirmation within fourteen (14) days which will provide details of how to accept their prize and the date by which they must claim their prize. The winner’s name and locality will also be published on our website www.australianfundraising.com.au within five (5) days of the Prize Draw.
- If the prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority, the Promoter may conduct a further Unclaimed Prize Draw at 11.00am AST on Wednesday 7 March, 2018 at the office of BLC International Pty Ltd, 1A/43 Spine Street, Sumner Park QLD. The winner will be notified by phone within two (2) days of the Prize Draw and sent written confirmation within fourteen (14) days which will provide details of how to accept their prize and the date by which they must claim their prize. The winner’s name and locality will also be published at www.australianfundraising.com.au within five (5) days of the Prize Draw.
- The Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of, in connection with, or arising out of the Promotion or taking the Prize or any component of the Prize and Entrants release the Promoter from any such liability. Further, the Promoter is not liable for any additional costs associated with the taking of the Prize and any expenses incurred beyond the specified Prize will be the responsibility of the Winner. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Entries and Entrants and to disqualify any Entrant who submits an Entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the Entry process including use of any form of automated entry device or software.
- If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to fraud or causes beyond the control of the Promoter or anything that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.
- By entering the Promotion, Entrants are providing personal information to the Promoter. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information in connection with the Promotion is governed by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Entrants agree and consent to the Promoter using and disclosing the Entrant’s personal information for the purpose of conducting the Promotion, redeeming the Prize and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Promotion.
