These Terms & Conditions apply to the MONEYME Renovation Kick Starter Cash Prize Competition promoted by MONEYME Financial Group Pty Ltd ABN 40 163 691 236 of Level 3, 131 Macquarie Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 (“MONEYME”) (the “Promotion”).
We recommend you read these Terms & Conditions in full. Information on how to enter the Promotion and in relation to the prize forms part of these Terms & Conditions. Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
The Promotion commences at 8:00am AEDT on 25 September 2022 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 20 January 2023 (“Promotion Period”).
Eligibility and entry
Entry to the Promotion is open to permanent residents of Australia who are aged 18 years or older (“Eligible Entrants”) and who meet the Entry Requirements. Employees of MONEYME and MCW Productions Pty Ltd ABN 98 621 619 369 and their related bodies corporate (as that term is defined in the Corporations Act 2001) or the immediate family of employees of those companies are ineligible to enter.
To enter the Promotion, Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotion Period, visit www.moneyme.com.au/dvineliving and complete the online entry form (Entry Requirements).
Each Eligible Entrant who meets the Entry Requirements during the Promotion Period will receive one automatic entry in the Prize draw. There is a maximum of one (1) entry per Eligible Entrant.
Prize
There will be one (1) prize of $5,000 AUD (“Prize”) paid to the Prize winner by electronic funds transfer. The Prize winner cannot transfer or assign their right to the Prize to any other person.
Prize draw
The Prize draw will be conducted by MONEYME at Level 3, 131 Macquarie Street, Sydney NSW and will take place at 12:00pm AEDT on 30 January 2023.
In the event the Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond MONEYME’s control, MONEYME may at its discretion substitute the Prize for an alternative prize, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of receiving the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any additional expenses involved are at the Prize winner’s expense.
Allocation of the Prize to the winner is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Prize winner will be notified by telephone and/or email by 6 February 2023 via the contact details supplied to MONEYME when they entered the Promotion. The Prize winner's name will also be published no later than 6 February 2023 on the MONEYME blog, on the MONEYME website at www.moneyme.com.au.
If the initial Prize winner cannot be contacted, or does not the claim the Prize, within 14 days of the Prize draw, MONEYME may conduct an unclaimed prize draw in order to distribute the unclaimed Prize. All non-winning entries from the original draw will be included in the unclaimed prize draw. The unclaimed prize draw if needed will be conducted by MONEYME at 12:00pm AEST on 10 February 2023. The winner of any unclaimed prize draw will be notified in the same way as the original prize winner by 16 February 2023.
MONEYME reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to request verification of age, identity, residential address of the Prize winner and/or proof of entry validity and other information relevant to entry into or participation in this Promotion. MONEYME reserves the right to disqualify any individual who: (a) is involved in any way with interfering or tampering with the conduct of the Promotion; or (b) MONEYME deems has acted in a way which is contrary to the spirit of the Promotion.
General
MONEYME assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry in the Promotion or for inaccurate information by any person or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, MONEYME may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify the Promotion.
Where necessary and subject to the approval of the relevant lottery authorities (if required), MONEYME reserves the right to modify and vary these Terms & Conditions and may withdraw the Promotion at any time. MONEYME may exclude from the Promotion any entrant who breaches these Terms & Conditions or who acts in a way which is contrary to the spirit of the Promotion or these Terms & Conditions. Any decision of MONEYME is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
Information provided by entrants will be collected and used by MONEYME for the purpose of conducting the Promotion and for promotional purposes relating to this Promotion. By entering this Promotion, entrants consent to the collection, storage and use of their information as described and agree that MONEYME may also use this information for future marketing or promotional purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. To the extent permitted by law, MONEYME and its related bodies corporate, and their officers, employees and agents, shall not be liable for any claims, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way connected with this Promotion and/or the Prize or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of MONEYME or its related bodies corporate, or their officers, employees or agents.
