#junglecalendar. All entries must be received by Monday 31 October 2016 at 09:00 AEDT. Entries

Entries
By entering in the competition, entrants acknowledge
that his or her name(s), images, details and
social media accounts
may be used for publicity and marketing and promotional purposes.
It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that the background image in the entry they submit
have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third
party or any laws. Entrants must warrant that the photograph they are submitting is their own work
and that they own the copyright for it
or is a CC0 licensed image.
Copyright for the background image in the entry submitted for this competition remains with the
respective entrants. Each entrant however grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to
Andrew Varvel to feature any or all of the submitted entries on the Jungle Calendar website, social
media accounts and/or in any promotional material connected to this competition.
Any entry may be disqualified by the promoter if it is deemed they do not meet the entry
requirements or infringement of a third party’s intellectual property.
Entries Permitted
Each entrant must only submit one entry during the competition period. If more than one entry is
submitted, the latest entry will only be accepted.
Privacy
Only names, social media account handles and entries will be stored for the purpose of running the
competition.
Total Prize Pool
$500.00 AUD
Prize
1 x $500 Adrenaline Gift Card comprised of 5 x $100 vouchers.
This competition is in no way affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by
Adrenaline.
No part of a prize is exchangeable, redeemable or transferable. Any ancillary costs associated with
redeeming the gift card are not included. Any unused balance of the gift card will not be awarded
as cash. Redemption of the gift card is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including
those specified on the gift card.
The gift cards expire 17 August 2017.
The prize will be mailed to the winner by Registered Australia Post.
Judging
This is a competition of creativity and skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.
Each entry will be individually judged based on merit. The judges’ decision is final and no
correspondence will be entered into.
Entries will be judged on the creativity, originality & design of the following
•
Choice of calendar events
•
Selection of calendar background photo
•
Selection of theme colours in relation to background photo
•
Use of emoji with calendar events
•
Relevance to the theme of ‘My Perfect Day’
The promoter will select the twenty (20) best entries and a judging panel of 10 people will then
individually rank the top ten entries out of the twenty that meet the judging criteria assigning 10
points for the top entry, 9 for 2nd, 8 for 3rd, 7 for 4th, 6 for 5th, 5 for 6th, 4 for 7th, 3 for 8th, 2 for
9th and 1 points for 10th. These scores will then be totalled across the judging panel and the entry
with the highest score will be deemed the winner. In the event of any tie, the entries that are tied
will be scored again by the judging panel to determine a winner. All members of the judging panel
are ineligible to enter and must not know of anyone who has entered in the competition, or seen
any entries prior to judging.
Notification
The winner will be notified via Facebook or Twitter on Monday 7 November 2016. The name of the
winner and winning entry will also be posted at the same time. If the winner cannot be reached by
Monday 14 November 2016 or is found ineligible, the promoter will contact the next highest scoring
entry. This process will continue in one week intervals until a winner can be contacted.
