By entering The Weekend Edition’s $500 shopping spree at Harbour Town voucher competition, as a subscriber of The Weekend Edition you accept the following terms and conditions:
Competition Terms and Conditions
The Prize is a $500 voucher to spend at Harbour Town Outlet Shopping Centre. There is a total of one (1) prize valued at $500.
The Prize is non transferable.
The Winner will be drawn Friday September 22, 2017 by 5:00 pm.
The Promoter is The Weekend Edition (ABN 13 082 488 695) a division of Colour Chiefs Pty Ltd.
The Prize Provider is Harbour Town Centre Management Pty Ltd (HTCM), ABN 21 001302 610, PO Box 255, Biggera Waters, QLD, 4216.

How to Enter:
To participate in the Competition, the entrant must subscribe or have subscribed to The Weekend Edition Gold Coast’s e-news.
Existing subscribers only need to enter the competition on The Weekend Edition website.
Entrants must fully and correctly complete and submit the entry form on The Weekend Edition website. If you do not supply the information, your entry will be deemed invalid. You may only enter this competition once.
Competition is deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions.
The Prize is not negotiable or redeemable for cash.
The Prize must be redeemed by the Prize Winner.
Eligibility: To be eligible to enter this Competition, a person must:
be over 18 years of age
be permanent residents of the State of Queensland
fully and correctly complete and submit the entry form on The Weekend Edition website
not be employees of The Weekend Edition and their immediate families, the staff of companies involved in the production, publishing and administration of this promotion and their immediate family means parents, siblings, defacto, spouse, children and grandparents.
Competition Dates: The Competition closes Thursday September 21 at 11:59 pm. All entries must be received by the Promoter by 11:59 pm Monday September 25, 2017.
Competition Draw: The Winner will be randomly drawn on Friday September 22, 2017 by 5:00 pm. AEST at The Weekend Edition Office, Windsor 4030. The Winner of the Prize will be the first eligible entry randomly drawn. The decision will be conclusive and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winner Notification: The Weekend Edition will notify winners by phone and email. The Weekend Edition reserves the right to use information regarding the Winners of the Competition for marketing purposes, including publication of their names on the websites maintained by the Promoter.
No liability of Promoter: The Promoter accepts no responsibility whatsoever for late, misplaced, lost or ineligible entries. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of the Prizes to the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury sustained in connection with the entry into the Competition or acceptance of the Prize. This paragraph is not intended to exclude any liability which cannot be excluded under Australian consumer protection laws. Any such liability is limited to the resupply of the Prize.
The Promoter reserves the right to alter or amend these terms and conditions and/or cancel the Competition at any time prior to the Competition opening without further recourse to the entrants.
Important – Privacy: The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the Competition and of periodically providing entrants with marketing information about the Promoter’s products and services. By entering this Competition entrants consent to the use of their contact details for the purposes described in this clause.
Force Majeure: If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned (including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter), which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify all entries from any individual who tampers with, or benefits from tampering with the entry process which as a result corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition.
In the case of intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolution discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start with the same conditions.

Harbour Town-specific Terms and Conditions:
The Promoter is Harbour Town Centre Management Pty Ltd (HTCM), ABN 21 001302 610, PO Box 255, Biggera Waters, QLD, 4216.
Any attempt to resell or auction all or any part of this prize will result in an immediate cancellation of the prize. The prize elements may be terminated without notice if these Terms and Conditions are not complied with.
Total maximum value is $500. Prize values are correct at the time of publishing and are subject to change without notice. HTCM accepts no responsibility for changes to prize values. The Prize must be redeemed by 9.00am, Monday September 25 2017.
Prize is not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. Any tax implications for Eligible Persons, which may arise from this Competition are the responsibility of the Eligible Persons, and independent advice should be sought.
The promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for another prize of similar value (to be determined by the promoter) should the prize become unavailable for any reason.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Additional expenses incurred as a result of accepting this prize are the winner’s responsibility and the Promoter and/or its affiliates accept no liability or responsibility in respect of the same or for any loss or injury suffered as a result of accepting the prize.
If a Prize is unclaimed or the winning entrants are unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions by 9.00am, Monday 24 April 2017, a second chance draw will not be drawn.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to any written directions under State or Territory legislation.
The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification and residency considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
The winners agree to participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to the Competition as requested by the Promoter and its agents and sign any release document provided by the Promoter, in its absolute discretion. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are winners of a draw (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing this Competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
This promotion is offered in good faith and is not to give rise to any legal dispute and is binding in honour only. In case of a dispute or challenge, Centre Management’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Acceptance of prizes indemnifies Harbour Town Shopping Centre, its retailers, managers and agents of any responsibility.
All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about entrants to include entrants in the Competition and where appropriate award prizes. If the personal information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the Competition. We may collect your personal information for the purpose of providing products or services or information about these products or services, to you. Such products and services may include, but are not limited to, the provision of VIP Cards, membership of Tourism Club or Tourism Lounge, the conduct of promotions or competitors, the operation of mailing lists for promotional purposes, an application for tenancy at one of our centres and for the provision of other services requested by you.
