- The promoter is: Bene Finance Pty Ltd, ABN: 13 627 244 848 whose registered office is at 52 Savage St, Pinkenba, QLD 4008. The advertiser is: Digital Grit Pty Ltd, ABN: 13 626 551 488 whose registered office is at Level 29, 1 Eagle St, Brisbane QLD 4000.
- The competition is open to residents of Australian States and Territories aged 18 years or over. Competition excludes employees of Bene Finance and Digital Grit and their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
- This competition will be drawn as a ‘game of skill’. The specific skill required to win will arise when the successful entrant submits the ‘most engaging comment’ in answer to one of five market research questions posed by Bene Finance as part of this marketing campaign. The competition will be judged by Christy Lee-Bernstein, a nominated person whom has no conflicting interests in relation to this competition, the promotion or intended entrants.
- The judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- A number of promotional landing pages and different digital advertising may be used to engage with potential respondents. These pages may require entrants to answer one of five nominated market research questions to enter the competition. No bias or preference shall be given by the judge, in determining the winner, in relation to any differences (direct or perceived) on any of the landing pages. The judge will not be given the questions when judging, only respondent answers, to avoid any such bias potential.
- The judge will determine what constitutes the ‘most engaging comment’ and, thus, which entrant constitutes the winning entry.
- This competition may be run on Facebook and its audience network platform channels, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Ozbargains, Get Bene website (getbene.com.au), Taboola and related programs, at the sole discretion of the advertiser.
- Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
- Closing date for entry will be 30 November 2018 at 5pm AEST. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
- The prize is as stated (a $500 AUD Visa pre-loaded gift card) and no cash or other alternatives will be offered in its place.
- The card will be provided to the winner either in digital or physical form, at the discretion of the promoter.
- The prizes are not transferable.
- Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
- A single (1) winner will be chosen by the independent judge appointed by the Promoter by 5PM AEST on 3 December 2018.
- The winner will be notified by email and/or direct message on Twitter/Facebook and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
- Should the second replacement winner also be non-contactable, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize indefinitely.
- The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.
- The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by the law of the State of Queensland, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Queensland State Courts.
- Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
