Who can enter the competition?

The competition is open to Australian residents over the age of 18. Dymocks staff and their family members, as well as entries not meeting Dymocks' entry criteria, are ineligible.

When does the competition close?

Entries close at 11:59 PM on Sunday, September 29, 2024.

How can one enter the competition?

To enter, participants must follow @dymocksbooks on Instagram or Facebook and comment on the Free Book Friday post, answering the question: "What is your favourite historical fiction read and why?"

What are the prizes and prize details?

There will be a total of 10 winners—5 winners will be selected from Instagram and 5 from Facebook. Each winner will receive a copy of "The Instrumentalist" by Harriet Constable, a debut novel that explores themes of music, intoxication, and betrayal, inspired by the true story of Anna Maria della Piet.
