YOUNG GUNS PREDICT MELBOURNE
1. By participating in the BROADSHEET AND BMW NEXT GUIDE URBAN Young Guns Predict
(Melbourne) promotion each participant fully and unconditionally agrees and acknowledges that these
terms and conditions are binding.
2. The promoter is Broadsheet Media Pty Ltd, ABN 20 131 593 201 of Level 1, 231 Smith St, Fitzroy,
VIC 3065, trading as Broadsheet (Promoter).
3. The Promotion commences at 3.00pm on Friday 20th of November 2015 and closes at 18.00 on
Sunday 29th of November 2015 (Promotion Period).
4. Entry is open to Vic residents only who are over 18 years of age.
HOW TO ENTER
5. To enter this Promotion, you must enter your first name, last name, email address, postcode, state.
6. This is a game of chance and skill plays no part. The Promoter’s decision is final and no
correspondence will be entered into with entrants.
7. Multiple entries are not permitted.
8. Entrants can only enter in their own name. The use of automatic entry software, mechanical or
electronic devices that allows an individual to automatically enter the competition is prohibited and
may render all entries submitted by that individual invalid.
9. Employees of the Promoter and BMW, immediate family members of any employee, and any
associated company or agency of the Promotion are not eligible to enter.
JUDGING AND PRIZES
10. Judging will take place at Level 1, 231 Smith St, Fitzroy, Victoria 3065 at 16.00 (AEDT) on
Monday 30th of November 2015.
11. One winner will receive Dinner for four guests with a menu designed by new head chef Ollie
Hansford, with a drinks selection from sommelier Morgan Dunn.
12. Total prize pool value is up to $300.00 including GST.
13. The winners of this competition will be notified via email to their nominated email address on
Monday 30st of November 2015
14. In this email the winner will be sent instructions to redeem their prize. It is the responsibility of the
winner to confirm they received notification of their prize by Friday 4th December and follow the
instructions provided to redeem their prize.
15. The prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, cannot be sold, exchanged for cash or redeemed at
a later date. Should a winner choose not to attend their prize is automatically forfeited.
16. In the event for any reason a winner does not take an element of the prize by the time stipulated
then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be supplied in lieu of
that element of the prize.
17. Prize values are the recommended retail value as provide by the supplier and are correct at time of
printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
18. If the winner cannot be contacted, the Promoter has the right to select a new winner on Friday 4th
of December.
19. Travel to and from any of the prize venues is not included.
20. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the
prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
21. The winner is are responsible for all other expenses other than those specified
22. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner agrees to participate in and cooperate with all
reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed, photographed and
filmed and the winner grants the Promoter a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use such footage and
photographs in all media worldwide and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use. The
inclusion of any such footage or photographs (including but not limited to creative control of the
feature) will remain with the Promoter at all times.
23. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of
the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.
24. The Promoter and BMW and associated agencies and companies shall not be liable for any loss or
damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for
any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which
cannot be excluded by law.
25. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
