Storyology kicks off with a live storytelling extravaganza, Storyology: After Dark, where contributors will create a magazine live on stage! Storyology: for Journalists features unmissable speakers, while Storyology Saturday has something for everybody, including discussions about foreign correspondents, Queensland’s history of crime, #fakenews and the Trump effect.

Speakers at the festival include Trent Dalton, William McInnes, Caro Meldrum-Hanna, Tonya Mosley (US), Afghanistan-based photojournalist Andrew Quilty, Mel Buttle, Tracey Spicer and Aaron Glantz (US). It's happening at Brisbane Powerhouse from 24–26 August.
